Product Description

The GAN 11 M Pro is GAN’s upcoming 2020 flagship 3x3 magnetic speed cube. Built with an omnidirectional magnetic core, this cube delivers a unique, enhanced magnetic feel that is also easy to adjust.

GAN’s new omnidirectional magnetic core is the industry’s first corner-core magnetic positioning system. In addition to the 48 traditionally placed magnets inside the cube’s pieces, the GAN 11 M Pro features 8 pairs of magnets stemming from the core to each corner base. This magnetic positioning system creates a consistent magnetic feel that is strong without an aggressive snap.

The GAN 11 M Pro features the same dual adjustment system as the popular GAN 356 XS. Use the included adjustment tool to set elasticity to 6 different levels. Tension by hand to 4 different settings with the smaller blue nut.

The GAN 11 M Pro comes in three variants, frosted stickerless (primary internals), frosted stickerless (black internals), and

Comes with:

  • GAN 11 M Pro
  • GAN Cube bag
  • GAN Pamphlet
  • Spare GES with adjustment tool
  • Extra magnets with case
  • Screwdriver
  • GAN VIP Card

This cube comes in two special coated editions!

GAN11, GAN11M, GAN 11M, GAN11 M, gan 11 m pro, gan 11

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Retracting me previous positive review

I have now had my GAN 11 M pro for a month and its gotten a lot of use. It started out great, but now the magnets routinely switch to the 1 or 3 position on their own while I'm solving. Its becoming extremely frustrating. Normally I'd say that this is a tolerable issue, but this is too expensive of cube to have a problem like this. Maybe just order the DUO instead because the magnet strength is set at 2 and not changeable.

What the ....?

Alright so first of I'm an average at best cuber with a relatively disposable income. I think it is important to note that as I am not a pro but I'm speaking from a relative casual cuber perspective. Also, this is a Roux perspective heavy review.

I'm still settling on my favorite set up so I can't give you how I use the cube as I haven't decided.

My first thoughts about this cube was a shockingly similar reaction to a number of unboxing videos. I picked this out of the cube box (which I'll actually use compared to most that come with cubes) and I was littlerally dumbstruck by the weight. I literally could not understand how light this thing is. I'm still shocked and worried I might break the thing every time I touch it. The weight drop seemed insignificant on paper but is ridiculous in practice.

Alright so the details. This cube is insanely easy to turn right out of the box. It's like pushing air. The magnetic bump is barely there when you are starting a turn (its especially nice when doing M' and M) yet firm when the cube reaches the end of the turn. It is honestly a little magical.

What about the stability you say? This cube is incredibly stable because of the magnet system. It isn't like the Valk Elite where the magnets feel a little like a wall, its more like a Gan but it is actually loose feeling and has the flex that makes the cube awesome.

Corner cutting, alright it is a Gan so it's good. I wouldn't dare say any less.

Lock ups and corner twists. Alright so I'm about 80 solves in and I haven't experienced a corner twist. In fact, I've never had this issue on any cube (maybe I'm just lucky?). As for lock ups, I have only experienced this a few time with algs that are newer to me. I haven't had any issue with my tried and true Roux. I can see how this are likely to happen with this cube, but I believe getting used to the cube will likely remove the issue.

So time comparisons. I have already gotten better averages on this cube but nothing near my pb singles (which I'm certain is the result of not getting a lucky scramble for me yet).

This cube will likely be my main over my Moyu WRM 2020 but I'm not sure yet. I will say that this cube will likely be what I do long cubing sessions with because of its weight and how easy it is to turn. I can't imagine getting tired solving on this cube.

I would highly recommend this cube to anyone who is willing to spend the money on it. It's, if nothing else, interesting. In my opinion it is a fantastic technological advancement that may lead to some great innovation in the way of cubing technology.

Best performance ive ever seen

I expected a lot from this cube, due to its high price, and everything i hoped this puzzle would offer, turned out to be even better. After setting it up, the corner cutting is probably the best of any 3x3 you can get. it is completely effortless even above 55 degrees. The typical airy feel of a gan cube is now combined with the stability you see in moyu cubes, most likely because of the core magnets, and i absolutely love it. My tps during LL is so much higher now. The only thing you might have to adjust to, is the cubes weight. With only 63g its a lot lighter than most flagships from other brands, but I was already used to it from the Gan XS. Nonetheless, i highly recommend getting this puzzle if you already liked Gan´s previous flagships, but missed stability when spamming tps, which this cube now has.

Buyer Beware!!!

It is VERY important to remember the weight of this cube is at most 63.0g and compare that to the weight of your current puzzle. My current main is a GAN 356x which which weighs in at 81.1g; it might not seem like a big difference... roughly 20 grams, but is is almost a 25% drop is weight. This puzzle is effortless to move and to get it going the same speed as much 356x (not 356xs) I barely need to touch it. This is allowing me to focus on things like turning accuracy and trying to turn slower.

My only con with this cube is that I will need to retrain how gentle I turn the cube and try to figure out how to do my OLLs and PLLs quick due to how fast the cube is.

Another thing to remember about this cube is the core magnets. Since the core magnets have a short radius, it allows the cube to have less of a "bump" when aligned due to the magnetic attract not dissipating as much as the older system of magnets that are only edge to corner. I am currently getting A LOT of timers under my current average, but I need to get used to the speed of this cube and effortless turning to remove those extreme large mistake I am making. I would assume within 2 or 3 weeks I will be used to this cube.

Fun to Play With, not to Eat.

Now I know what you're thinking. "But, if it fits in your mouth, it's edible, right?" But that's not the point of this, silly! This is a review!

A lot of people expect the GAN 11m Pro to be above and beyond for its price. A lot of people wonder if they should just settle on a MoYu RS3M 2020 (since its a ton cheaper). A lot of people want a cube that custom fits your style, without a crazy amount of hassle. This is exactly the cube you are looking for. It is above and beyond for its price. It is, in my opinion, better than a RS3M 2020 (which I mained a Mystic version of for five months. Trust me, that's an amazing cube. Then I tried this one), and does not require a crazy amount of hassle to fit it to your standards. What makes this cube so great is that you can make it whatever you want it to be. You don't have to worry about getting the tensions wrong unlike in any cube with screws, since there are 6 levels of tension, and 4 levels of spring travel. Not to mention, how crazy diverse the magnets can feel. You can have the option to remove the corner magnets, along with set the piece magnets to weak to give a really light magnetic feel, or put in the strongest corner magnets and set piece magnets to strong, and it give a truly satisfying magnetic bump. What's odd is how light this cube feels with such strong magnets at the strongest settings.

I personally put my magnets at all of the strongest settings, put in the dark blue tension nuts and set them to 2. I also set my actual tensions to 3. I then used MAX Fleet as the core lube (which worked great since this cube has a plastic core, no need to use Lubicle Black). I then put in some DNM-37 and Mystic to replicate that fast yet cushiony comfort.

Once again, the GAN 11m Pro is worth the price because of its diversity. It is staggering that this cube is this light, and has this many settings to all be custom tailored to your liking. Sure, there are cheaper cubes. The RS3M 2020 is a great competitor. But in this case, you're buying amazing quality with incredible features.

However, I'm still not too sure on the taste. 1/10 would not eat again :P

Nice, but only for specific people

It’s great. It performs extremely well for my turning style. A few things to consider when purchasing this cube:
-Even at the tightest settings, the cube is still quite loose. If you like tighter settings, get a different cube.
-It locks up quite a bit, so if you have a very rough turning style, this cube may not be for you.
-The center caps are unusually difficult to take out. I broke a nail trying to take one out :P
-The cube is quite loud. Only get this if the people around you won’t get annoyed.

Overall good cube, but despite gan’s success in the past with making cubes that fit everyone, this cube is more specific to certain cubers. If you like lighter, more effortless cubes and a crispy feeling, this is for you. Otherwise, get something else.

Great Cube, With One Small Problem

Really customizable and I like it a lot. Effortless turning. However, because of the turning, the corner cutting is rough and hard to do. The magnets minimize the need for corner cuts - but I can’t quite give it a 5 star. Solid 4.5.

THE SPRINGS!!!

So first of all, this is my main. It is an awesome cube but I hesitate to recommend it. The first problem I ran into was the corner magnets starting to rattle over time. This made quite an annoying sound and gave the cube an inconsistent magnetic feel. The second problem was that the springs. They were strong at first, but after a while, they started to get SUPER loose. The old loose setting became the new tight setting. When you are getting this cube, keep those things in mind.

Pretty good, but im not sure

This cube is good, ok. But, I dont really like it. For cubers that like their cubes on more flexible, looser settings, and relies on corner cutting, this cube is not for you. For me, I like my cubes slightly unstable, and i hely on good corner cutting for my turning style. The best way I can describe this cube is that it feels like a GAN cube. It is a bit too fast, and the manget strength is very strong, even with the light piece magnets. It is very stable, even on loose settings. The core magnets keep the cube stable, but I don't really like the feel. This is not a negative review, just my opinion.
