Staying Safe with TheCubicle

Our top priority: you 

As the situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, we’d like to give you a closer look at the practices we’ve implemented to keep you, our team, and as many cubers in our great community healthy. 

Safety and cleanliness have always been critically important to us, and we’ve upped our standards to keep everyone safe. All staff members are required to thoroughly wash their hands immediately upon entry to our facility and regularly while they are at work. We’re also maintaining a very strict regimen of regularly disinfecting all our equipment such as surfaces and computers. We’ve also temporarily restricted our facilities to employees only for the time being. 

In addition to our current practices, our staff members are strongly encouraged to keep educated and updated so that we can take the most effective precautions. 

Keeping your orders safe 

On surfaces like products and packaging, coronavirus survivability is poor. This is especially the case when packages have been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperatures. Currently, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, there is no evidence to support transmission of the coronavirus associated with imported goods. To further ensure the safety of our products, our restocking packages are kept away from human contact for extended periods of time before they are added to our shelves. 

Working together to stay healthy 

We encourage you to do your part! To keep safe, we recommend cleaning your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (this is one of the only areas where being sub-20 is not desirable). If you have hand sanitizer, please make sure it is at least 60% alcohol. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth at all times and especially with unwashed hands. Also avoid contact with people who are sick. Regularly clean frequently used items like mobile phones, wallets, and keys. 

Looking to the future 

We are relieved to report that all our staff members are currently healthy. Over the past weeks, we have been operating at full capacity -- dispatching orders efficiently while alleviating customer concerns in a time of worry. 

We aim to continue operating at full capacity while providing you safe and reliable order fulfillment. In addition, for the cubers who are spending more time at home, we plan on creating more media content and hosting more live streams so we can keep in touch.
