Product Description

The CH ChuWen M 2x2 is the mass-produced, non-customized variant of the ChuWen M, and it features slightly weaker magnets than the ones featured in the Cubicle ChuWen M. The magnetization service was performed on a stock ChuWen by Cuber's Home, an independent company based in China.

The ChuWen M 2x2 is packaged inside a specially marked ChuWen box, and it comes with all of the original ChuWen materials plus a special brown cube bag, a screwdriver, some spare magnets, a cube stand, and an official numbered card.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Perfect if u know how to customize it

Always been my main since I was sub 4, you can definitely get a sub 2 average with this cube, better than 251 leap.

Meh

People say this cube is great. I don't see all the hype.

OOTB, the cube was pretty slow, tight, and really, really bumpy. The magnets are extremely noticeable, in a rather annoying way. I disliked the feeling a lot at this point, but forced myself to do a couple hundred solves to try it out.

After breaking in, loosening the tensions, and adding some lubicle silk, the cube was faster, a bit smoother, but it was still really bumpy. It feels like there are a bunch of little things the cube catches on as you turn. Not in a way that stops your turning, but to me it just doesn't feel pleasant.

Also, for whatever reason, even though I have the tensions really, really lose, the cube has several spots where it just locks up, which is something that we just shouldn't see on a 2x2 in today's world. I've had 2 corner twists in about 500 solves as well, which isn't stellar.

In the end, this isn't a bad cube, but for me the super bumpy feeling combined with random lockups just didn't make this a good enough cube to replace my longtime main 2x2. If you are a collector, sure, buy this. If you're a new 2x2 solver, don't buy this. I'd recommend either the Valk 2, or the MGC 2x2. If you're a veteran 2x2 solver, there may be a place for this cube. It feels somewhat like the plastic and weight of the OP Dayan, however it is quite bumpy and catchy, so it feels inferior imo.

Overall, 3/5. Will take some work, and it still winds up imperfect.

Almost perfect

I love the cube but I would love to see a stickerless version soon. Besides not having a stickerless form, it is buttery smooth and very light, I recommend this for beginners or experts. Overall I think it is an amazing cube and definitely worth the price.

CH ChuWen M 2x2

great 2x2 out of the box it was very slow but smooth with a little bump from the magnets it was also a little tight but after 2 drops of silk and 4 drops of dnm 37 with some weight 4 on the core it was fast, smooth but controllable. there were 4 stickers that had large air bubbles and were peeling i told the cubicle and they sent me replacement stickers free of charge

Best 2x2 in my opinion!

I love this 2x2 because it is fast and controllable. After breaking in, I put some Dmn 37 and Traxxas to make it a bit faster for me. The cube has only corner twisted once, but its not a big deal.

I get better times with this cube. Corner cutting is over 45 and very good for reverse.

It has primary internal pieces. I think this cube is very stable, more reliable than the Guoguan Xinghen.

Since this is mass produced, the stickers are a little bit off but you could restickered.

This cube is really good!

at first i was really bummed out with my purchase because the cube was EXTREMELY slow out of the box. After like 30 - 35 solves the cube is now insane. The magnets are pretty light, you definitely notice them when turning slowly but when solving they are almost not there. the cube came with a few odds and ends such as a small screwdriver and business and some extra magnets which i really enjoyed unboxing and seeing. All in all this cube is amazing and really worth the price.

My new main

My old 2x2 main used to be a Mf2C which was in my opinion the best budget 2x2 out there. I couldn't afford an expensive 2x2 but I raised enough to get this one, and it was a whole lot better. I didn't get this cube here, but at cubers home. It was great turning and the magnets give it a very nice feel. It also came with a drawstring bag, extra magnets, and a card like in the air SM. Overall for $17.99 it is a really good cube for its price.

Good cube but very slow

I go this cube 2 months ago. It was a really good cube except for the speed. I lubed it but it still didnt get faster.

great but...

this cube is great. out of the box it seemed a bit slow but after about 20 solves it goes away.the cube as a really nice tactile feeling. plus its really quiet. its fast but not uncontrollable and corner cuts amazingly. also you get a nice pull string bag a little screwdriver 10 extra magnets and a nice chuwen M card (like the one in the air um). for a awesome cube and the extra accessories for only $18 is a great deal.
