Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Good for Beginners

When I got this cube, it was pretty good out of the box. It turned smoothly and I really like it. But on the other hand, its corner-cutting isn't exactly amazing, for a budget it's alright. Another issue (this one is probably more me) was that it feels really small and the inner layers are tiny (again to me, maybe not you). If you plan to buy this, consider the size and get the M version if you still want it, because I lose control. I hope this helps.

Last thing, my caps don't pop off, so if you read the other review and that was a big no go, might not be for everyone.

Happy customer review

It works great! Way better than expected, turns smoothly, very small for easy grip. So much fun after the 5x5 got old.

Great For Budget, Has Some Issues

I have a few budget 7x7's and this is the best one that I've found. It's good especially for beginners, but has a few issues. One thing I really like about the cube is how it's smaller than most 7x7's. I have small hands so this works well. It's very sluggish, so if you are solving for a while your hands will get stiff and finger tricking the inner layers requires some force. Loosening the tensions helps, but it makes the cube more likely to pop (I haven't had a lot of pops though.) The biggest issue that is a really big problem is that the caps on the center pieces fall off a lot. I would say every other solve I have a cap fly off. I'm shocked I haven't lost any yet.

TLDR- Good, small budget cube, not great for speed solving, caps pop off easily.

Not good out of the box

When I got it it's turning was not too good. I was doing a lot of solves on it and it became better. My friend got one too and he barely does any turns on it and when I turn it, mine feels better. 1 Problem: The "caps" for the pieces come off easily.

Solid budget cube

This cube is solid for the price. If you are just getting in to 7x7 or just want a cube to mess around with, this is a great option. It’s very compact and fits in my hands well, easy to turn and is very smooth. It obviously isn’t the magnetic version or a flagship 7x7 by any means, I’m sure this would slow down a world class big cube solver but for most of us this does just fine. Great cube for the cost, definitely recommend for beginners or if you just want a 7x7.

Pretty good for a budget cube

Out of the box it wasn’t a great cube there was a lot of friction because it was too tight I was getting like 3 min solves when usually I’m faster than that. After I tensioned it, it became probably the best 7x7 budget cube I own and almost beat my best time with the Spark M which was 2 min 37 secs and I got 2 min 39 secs so it was pretty close. I would highly recommend this for beginners but if you already are a speedcuber I would recommend something better like a Spark M or Yuxin Hays M. Btw don’t get the Meilong 7x7 I would rather get the v cube 7 than that.
