Product Description

The LanLan 3x3 Geary Cube resembles an ordinary 3x3 on the outside, but it actually has as complete gear cube mechanism inside the cube. When one layer is turned, the gears inside the cube are rotated, causing other layers to turn as well. The puzzle was produced by LanLan and designed by Oskar van Deventer. It features an official Oskar logo.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Ingenious

When the original design for the Gear Cube was called the "Caution Cube", then I guess this variation on the concept was in order. Ib all honesty though, I really love this puzzle. The turning is not as great as Meffert's Gear Ball, but not as tight as the original Gear Cube. The gear mechanism is completely hidden, even mid-turn, and the only thing giving this puzzle away are the stickers, which I have since replaced. The puzzle even corner-cuts a little bit, which is impressive considering the mechanism that's hidden underneath the surface. One problem I have faced with this puzzle though, is that layers, if applied with enough force, can be forced to turn independently. Other than that I have had nothing but great experiences with this puzzle
