Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

MFJS MF8 8x8

Super-Sized Baragains!

Please note that the MF8 is rebadged to the Meilong 8, so the mechanism and mold is exactly the same. Alright, let’s get into the review. This 8x8 is 69mm and costs 30 dollars. No, I’m not playing because this puzzle is actually costs 30 dollars. That is nuts due to the fact that the Shengshou and the Yuxin(Huanglong) costs over 50 dollars or close to 100 dollars. I don’t really believe that cubers are going to afford a non-wca puzzle that big of a money. The puzzle is so cheap and actually, it’s pretty good. The turning is like a 7x7 due to its small size and precise mechanism that allows cubers to turn like a speed cube. The feeling of the cube is very smooth and buttery. Turning feels slow and locky mainly the hardware isn’t that great. Pops and lockups had been an occasional problem for me, but they were minor. The ability to speed cube allowed me to get sub 10 solves. I currently own a 10x10, 11x11, and this from the Meilong series. At such a low price, this and the other Xtra large NxN cubes turned and handled so well at a cheap price. Overall, this is an extreme bargain for puzzle collectors and speedcubers.

It turns amazingly right from the box, but one of the center pieces broke in two about a week after I received it.

Nothing

This 8x8 was my first 8x8. It was very disgusting right out of the box. So intentioned it and it exploded. Wow. (I don’t know how to assemble an 8x8). Well now I’m getting the shengshou...

Solid 8x8

It's smaller than I thought it would be. It is a stiffer cube and twisting 4 layers feel catchy. It is a tighter puzzle that's a bit hard sometimes. I wish it was just a bit bigger. The pros are though it's a 8x8 that works and that's at an awesome price. I would still recommend because of the price and the size should work for most. Also I got the black and the sticker shades are pretty good. So overall thumbs up and get one if you don't want to break the bank.

Ehh...

This cube is very slow, tight, and when I turn it it feels like it is going to pop. Not impressed with this one.

Good value.

There is some catching, and the outermost and innermost layers are a bit slow. After setting up it should be quite a bit better. Its very enjoyable to solve and doesn't have any major issues. If you just want a big cube, the mf9 is faster and catches less. It's slightly smaller than the mf7 so its quite small and is comfortable to turn.

Not the best but pretty good

The Mf8 is not the best 8x8, but it is better then the shenshou 8x8. It is a good budget cube and I like it in sticker less.

MF8

MF8 is ok. It is not as good as the MF9. It turns not as smooth and is not as enjoyable to solve. But, in stickerless it's really nice. Overall, it's good, but not amazing or anything like that.

Way too slow and stiff

Out of the box, I expected this cube to be moderately fast and somewhat stable. I was wrong! The cube (or at least stickerless versions) come gunked with lube out of the box, making it extremely slow and stiff. The cube is at medium tensions but still frequently pops. Now it feels like pieces will fall out every turn!
