Product Description

The MFJS MeiLong 3x3 Timer Cube is a new way to keep track of your times! This puzzle has a timer built right in to a corner piece! Simply hold down the button on the white face of the white/red/green corner until it says zero, then let go and start solving. When you are finished, push that button again and your time will be displayed.

Note: This puzzle comes as a standard MeiLong 3x3 with the corner timer piece, a screwdriver, and two small batteries in the box. Remove the screw from the timer piece and disassemble to insert batteries. Reassemble the corner, then replace the standard white/red/green corner with the timer piece to start playing.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Broken

Admittedly I purchased this a long while ago, probably 9 months back or so. The timer starts just fine, but it will reset to 0.00 with any moderate movement. Even just shaking the cube back and forth with decent force will reset the timer, let alone an actual solve. It will reset before the first cross. The idea is a cool novelty, but it's incredibly impractical. It's not even a good product when it's working properly. I haven't even mentioned how annoying it is to stop the timer with a button on the bottom of the cube, or accidentally pressing the button within a typical algorithm.

Great

its a great cube and the timer is great I like that I don't have to carry my timer around every where :) I go.

Sugoi timer/cube

I'll start with the cube. The turning is soft and papery, partly because of the thin plastic, but you couldn't ask for more, especially with the inclusion of the timer. The timer is not the best when you use it to time yourself when it's on the cube. If it's your only 3x3, replace the timer piece with the regular piece and put the piece on the table, so that way you could reach the timer. If you have a better 3x3 (don't get me wrong this 3x3 is great [especially with magnets]) and only got it for the timer because it's affordable (you spent all your money on the GAN 356XS/GAN 356I2) then keep the timer on the cube and do your solves with your other 3x3, that way, unlike removing it from the Meilong, it doesn't move when you reach for it. It's already worth it for the timer for me, in fact it's my only timer!

Cool idea

This is a decent cube and a great idea, especially for the price. However, the timer is fairly inaccurate. When I timed it against a more reliable stopwatch, it lost about two seconds over at 30 second period

AMAZING

It was great turning and the timer on it was awesome a little hard but when I started timing on it. It was awesome. GREAT CUBE and a great price tag.

Great, except

I would give this five stars, but the Assembly of the timer piece was pretty hard. But other than that, great cube.

Sucks

I bought this because it was cheap to try out. It came with dead corroded batteries and was fairly sluggish for what should be a speed cube... Or I assumed it would be if it had the audacity to include a timer lol
