Product Description

The FanXin Pyraminx is the first pyraminx released from FanXin. It has a sturdy and snappy feel, and it features ball bearings that help the pieces slide into place. The design also allows stickerless variants to be produced, and it is currently the only pyraminx with a stickerless (pink) version.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great

This is the best non-magnetic pyraminx on the market. Enough said. Get this is you don't want one of the magnetic ones (the X-Man Bell and MoYu Magnetic.)

So.... What are the complaints?

This is an amazing pyraminx, the first turns where pretty bad but they then start to get better when you use it. It has a decent price tag and amazing shades on th stickerless pink. The turning on the cube, as stated In the beginning, it bad at first, but then in my opinion and others, this is the fastest pyraminx on the market, and it also has a really nice click to it, it's like a Shengshou mixed with a Moyu. The tips are really nice out the box as well. And while the turning is superior to other puzzles, the corner cutting it mediocre. Forward cutting is decent but reverse cutting is non existent. While this is not necessary, pyraminx's like the Moyu and QiYi have reverse cutting superior to the FanXin. According to a YouTube channel named Cubey Time, there are catches on this pyraminx's, but I have never had any of these. Also, when I was reading the other reviews on this pyraminx, I saw some that said "al it do is pop." Either they are talking about the tips falling apart when dropped, or they loosen the puzzle, which is the only time that I have had a major pop, but on my tension it is still really fast. And another thing that I noticed is that the cube had really cheap plastic when I broken the tips, which when I broke it I now know why pyraminx's with a stickerless version have take apart tips, I think it would be more harder to put stickerless pieces into a tip like the moyu's. I give this pyraminx a 5 out of 5 because it has Mobil problems that can be fixed with a simple mod and it is very fast and clicks into place really nicely, and for the record, this is not just the most underrated pyraminx, but maybe the most underrated puzzle on the market, but if you really do not like it, save 2 dollars and get the she should and mod it, or spend a extra dollar for a Moyu or QiYi.

AMAZING-but needs work

Out of the box this pyraminx was very fast with clicky tips. The only problem was lock-ups, but after sanding and some cubicle wt 7 it was just like a Moyu pyra with a lack of corner cutting. If you're willing to put the work into it this can be easily your back-up main.

Ok price and Fast

I've had the stickerless one for a while now and the colours are very pastel but that doesn't bother me much. It's very fast even at my tight tensions and the tips are also fast. It feels cheap and light but the performance is great. Its' ball bearings don't snap as much as the shengshou but has the closest feel to it. Doesn't corner-cut that well due to the similarity to the shengshou but might get better with modding. If you want a fast out-of-the-box pyraminx that's pretty cheap then you should get this. I recommend this pyraminx to anyone at any skill level.
