The MAX GAN 356 X V2 is a light, fast, and controllable magnetic speedcube produced by GAN. This innovative puzzle features an advanced honeycomb design, a frosted exterior, interchangeable magnet capsules, and a dual-adjustment tensioning system. The MAX GAN 356 X V2 is lubed with a balanced mixture of MAX Command, MAX Fleet, and DNM-37. This puzzle comes equipped with standard-strength magnet capsules, light blue tensioning nuts set to 1, and compression set to 3. The MAX lubes are endorsed by professional speedcuber Max Park and give this puzzle a smooth, speedy feel that is long-lasting and controllable.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I have been cubing for about 5 years now and have owned a Gan for most of that time (356 air, air SM and now the X). I have liked the feeling of the pervious Gan cubes but it didn't quite align with my hand feel 100%. I was very nervous when buying this cube as it was a lot of money and if it was like to previous cubes I have owned, I would be very disappointed as it wouldn't of fell entirely natural in my hand. This cube did the exact opposite!!! It absolutely blew me away with the hand feel straight out of the box. Although quite sluggish to begin with, after a number of solves it became an absolute dream!!!!! I purchase all the lubes in the description so I could maintain it and with a few drops of DNM-37, It speed up tremendously and I was extremely satisfied with the control I still had on the cube. Overall a brilliant cube that is well worth the price tag, Well done Max, Gan and the cubical on the design and setup of the cube.
incredible after breaking in
This is my first professionally set up cube. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a stock cube again. Out of the box it was a little slow but once I did a few solves it broke in and instantly became my main. The colors are perfect which help tremendously with look ahead. The lube makes the cube super fast while still keeping the cube controllable. I can’t wait to take this to comp next month in Pittsburgh!
