Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

A 4x4x4 with no edge flip parity issues!

I've been a fan of twisty puzzles for a long time - solving the original rubik's in 2-3min for chocolate milks at recess lol... but I've never had any of the modern speedcubes and such in my hands... I'm mostly into them for the tactile experience and for the exploration of patterns while noticing the differences a shape mod can have on how your brain assess it...

As we all know, this is just a professor cube shape mod. As such, the solve is a little easier than the regular one due to the un-flippable appearance of the edge pairs. Tho, the shape makes it difficult to track the color layout, and most of the usual 4x4x4 moves will spin these oriented center groups, which adds a little more effort to the solve overall...
Physically, the puzzle is a little hard to twist, especially in the centers - all due to alignment issues. If you are used to the original puzzles, this isn't quite as frequent as the alignment issues back then, but they feel like they dig in more (ie: the conflicting edges feel more crisp, thus hold on more tenaciously)... I don't think lube would help in this case, but I don't have any to try with currently.
A large number of the stickers have a bubble each from tiny debris (vs air like on old puzzles), and several of the black side are peeling up. At some point I'll have to lift and clean all of them and then re-glue them down. I wish there was a tiled or stickerless version for sheer durability during use. Until then, this will likely spend most of it's time as a delightful shelf brightener... 🙋‍♀️

Catchy!

It looks nice from a distance. great collectors piece.
But the cube is very tight. I don't believe it can be tensioned.
Because of the shape and tightness the cube misaligns a lot.
I'm not even gonna bother trying to solve it, it really does seem like a horrible experience.
Looks nice on my shelf...
Gonna have to give this one 2 Stars for the lack of playability in my opinion.

Fun for beginners, different than most puzzles, but should be larger

This turns smoothly brand new, but it often locks up due to alignment issues. It has high-quality stickers in 12 delightful colors. It plays essentially like a 4x4 cube, and as such it should be larger in my opinion. If it were made bigger, then the larger parallel faces might make alignment less of a problem (and easier for adults to manipulate). Never any problem with popping pieces.

Not a mental challenge for anybody who can solve a 4x4 cube (just alignment problems noted above). It is actually EASIER than a 4x4 cube because the "edge" pieces have only 1 color, and so there is never a "parity error". However, it is significantly more difficult than a standard 3x3 cube, so it could be a challenge for some.

I like it for the look, but since I know how to solve a 4x4 and it has alignment issues, it is not fun to solve. I can only recommend it for a collector or a beginner.
