Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I had hoped for this cube, but it’s not good…

I was following the release of this cube for months, hoping that Diansheng was gonna make a competitive “debut” on the speedcubing market. But when I got this cube, it was not good feeling ootb at all, very dry, scratchy, extremely flexible, and SLOW. It felt like the pieces had too much contact with each other with every turn, yet the tension of the cube be itself was already quite loose feeling. I tried messing around with it but without any customiziaton or settings beyond screw tension, all I could do was to add some Silk and DnM-37, which made the cube surprisingly quiet, but not much faster or pleasant to turn. I haven’t been able to get good times with this cube (my average is nothing special, sub-25ish, sometimes less), plus the flexibility/ looseness causes corner twists very easily and sometimes really weird catches (cf. photos). Overall, this cube is my least favorite of the dozen or so 3x3s I currently have. For the same price, just get yourself an RS3M and some lube. For even less, a MeiLong M or Yuxin Little Magic would be better than this Diansheng.

Decent cube

It's essentially like the YouTube video reviews. Cube is alright but out of the box I prefer the moyu rs3m2021 maglev cube better. However, if you get the moyu maglev ring magnet kit from thecubicle you can add them to this diansheng cube and make it a maglev. Just take out the spring unit and separate the plastic that the spring is encased in then use the larger half as a bushing for the first magnet on the bottom (it fits perfectly in it) then put the other repelling magnet on the screw and reassemble. After you add 12 ring magnets to make it a maglev it may be even better than the moyu cube mentioned above....it's pretty close in my opinion. DianSheng should really make a maglev version of this cube.

Great Cube

I don't get all the hate this cube has gotten. I bought it because I wanted it with the black center pieces. I replaced the centers, lubed the hardware with weight 5, and the pieces with a generous amount of silk. This puzzle is now the smoothest turning cube I own. It has a completely diferent feel from every other cube I own. It's very controllable, it doesn't lock up, and it looks great. I really enjoy solving on this puzzle.

Worst 3x3 I own

This cube is a knock-off of the rs3m 2020. DianSheng was trying to make good cubes, but the result was a knock-off of the best cubes, and it’s performance is worse than a Rubik’s brand. I really don’t like the cube and its company.

Major Disappointment

Ignore the SCS logo on this cube. I put it on because I gave it to my five year old nephew who’s initial are the same so he believes this was made just for him. OOB this cube is terrible, it’s tight, and clunky. I swapped out the springs and center caps, loosened it up quite a bit, and lubed it with weight 5 on the core, gravitas on the tracks, and dignitas and dnm-37 on the pieces. It’s fast and smooth, however it’s terrible at corner cutting. Now mind you I have this cube pretty loose and I still have to give it some force to corner cut at 45 degrees, reverse is less than 45, somewhere around 30 degrees. The magnets are fairly light and so you tent to overshoot a bit. Not to mention this thing has lock-ups galore. Honestly I can’t recommend this cube to anyone who’s fluent at solving because it’s not fluid enough and locks up to much with speed. Also newer cubers aren’t going to know how to completely disassemble the cube in order to do a proper setup. I can honestly recommend the RS3M and the QiYi MS as I have both and both are excellent oob. I have the Moretry triple magnetic and it’s amazing. However Moretry does offer a budget single and double magnetic for the same price as this and I imagine those are as perfect as the triple magnetic.

Pretty good

This cube is decent and it can be quite fast after setting it up. The cube has really good corner cutting and it's not blocky or snappy like most budget cubes. My problems with this cube are that the cube feels scratchy when corner cutting and my cube came with real scratches out of the box, so DianSheng is clearly saving money on quality control. The cube also tends to corner twist if you're a bit aggressive, which is something that doesn't happen in most cubes. Apart from that, the cube is still good and I can get close to my normal times. I still think cubes like the RS3M and the QiYi MS are better options for most people.

Under-rated imo

I'm no pro at speed cubing, But the Solar is one for your collection... Smooth turning, slightly clacky... The option to switch out the center caps is a plus... No complaints here... By the way, rapid Shipping from The Cubicle, you cannot go wrong...

Honestly not that bad!

the problem with this cube is that it catches a lot despite being very flexible. However, the cube does NOT have a cheap feeling like other budget cubes; it feels very reinforced sturdy, and even a bit silky.

For MOST people, the RS3M or the YuXin little magic is a much better choice, and people can perform MUCH better on one of those. but I think this IS a usable cube, and one that some people may be able to use very well.
