Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great idea with disappointing execution.

The idea for this puzzle is a good one, but they really made some errors in execution. All the edges, corners, and centers are identical, and allow for the ball to travel in too many possible directions. As a result, its actually harder to set it up so that there isn't a path from start to end than it is to create a path.

You can't even try to do more interesting things like set up a path for the ball that spirals around the cube before exiting or something due to how liberal the pieces are with allowing the ball to go in various directions (for example, every center forces a 90 degree turn towards an edge piece, and that edge piece can only be oriented in a way that allows the ball to then continue to the next center as well as either adjacent corner at the same time).

For the most part, the ball moves smoothly through the path. The exception to this is when it tries to move between the corners and the edges when they are in certain orientations. The ball will go through, but you might have to wiggle the cubies around to make it go, which is disappointing as well.

Other than occasional ball sticking, the build quality is pretty good. Them giving you some extra balls is also a nice bonus. Based on that, I could recommend this puzzle, if only it was designed in a way that allowed you to do anything interesting with it. As it is though, it's a decent quality plastic paperweight, and I can't recommend anyone should get it.

Pass

Was hoping for more of a challenge. It's incredibly easy. If you have any understanding of how a cube works. Pretty much all the pices are the same, other then a couple centers. And while the balls so stay in the tracks, it can have problems passing to the next piece even when it seems perfectly aligned.

The cube does feel solid and turns well enough. I just wish it were more of a maze and less of a straight shot to the exit. I put all the balls in at once to see if that would be more difficult but I ended up accidentally getting a couple to the exit.
Might be more fun for someone very young but then they also might try to eat the metal ball.

I Agree With These Other Reviews - Disappointing Experience

I got this thinking this would be a great diversion from the usual 3x3 cube to solve on occasion. However, as other reviewers have said, this cube is disappointing in its performance of the maze portion. The marbles don't fall out, but the possible maze paths are not well designed so you reach the end rather easily. The photos make you think that the marbles travel inside the cube so that there might some trial and error as to how to solve it, but that is not the case.

The cube is a great size (roughly the size of 5x5) for the task of being a maze cube; unfortunately, its design fails to provide a fun experience.
