Product Description

The Hays7 is Yuxin's newest 7x7, made in collaboration with world-renowned big cube solver, Kevin Hays. The Hays7 is famous for setting multiple continental and world records, most notably Kevin Hays' 1:59.95 single (the first ever sub 2 official solve) and Max Park's previous world record single of 1:47.89. The Hays7 has a smooth and compact feel, making it possible to push your TPS more than ever on a big cube.

The M version comes factory magnetized.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Best 7x7 I've ever tried by far

Super fun to solve this. My pb went from 12:47 to 10:30 on the first solve, and 8:32 in the first week. It just keeps getting better. It can be pretty hang-uppy and clicky at random times, but not too badly, considering it's a 7x7. 4.5/5.

Best Cube Ever Made

I'm Kevin Hays and I think this is the best cube ever made. No Bias.

Best So Far

A very solid choice, best 7x7 as of right now in my opinion. Loose out of the box, but after some tightening it does not pop for me (though I am not one prone to pops as much as others it seems). I have done about 15 solves on it so far after adjustments, curious to see how it feels after more breaking in.

the size

this cube is smooth, buttery, fast and quiet. pops and lockups are not common on this cube. im not very good at 7x7, but this cubes hardware is good enough to make me want to keep solving and improve. it is big though, and if youre a kid, or someone with smaller than average hands, i recommend the spark

One of the best 7x7's I've used

This is by far the one the best 7x7's I have ever had the pleasure of using. It took a few solves to break in and I put a little lubical silk on to smooth it out, but it turned incredibly freely and I barely had any catching and no pops. The magnets in the middle layes keep rows in line and makes doing those wide M slices much quicker and easier. The cube exceeded my expectations and definitely one I would recommend to anyone looking for a quality magnetic 7x7

Best 7x7 ever

This is the best 7x7 I ahve ever felt. The cube fits in my hands, and there is not mush too say but it’s very good. Yes.

Outstanding!

This is an incredible cube. So fast and smooth but still able to be controlled. So happy I bought this cube over the spark. I don't even need to try the spark to know this one is better. If you already have a spark this isn't necessary but it's certainly an upgrade still.

groundbreaking 7x7 with small gripes

I had been using the Hays 7 as my main cube from november of 2018 to january 2018 and have been immensely enjoying it over non magnetic 7x7s. everything everyone says about how good this cube turns and corner cuts is totally accurate. My main gripes is that the magnets on the outter layers seem to be weaker on this cube than the xman spark (which I get better times on) and the caps on random center pieces fall off the cube and need to be superglued back on at times. Ive had this happen with 5 different center pieces and this is simply not a problem that the xman spark has. I would say that the hays 7x7 stands apart from other 7x7s for its plush feel when turning and weaker magnets in the outter layers.

THIS 7X7 IS RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!

Prior to this cube, I was using the WuJi for nearly 2 whole years and it had an extreme sluggishness, lockiness, and stiffness which makes 7x7 uncomfortable for me to do. The Hays 7 changes everything. Out of the box, the cube is very loose and sandy, but it gets better with some maintenance of the cube by lubing the core with weight 5 to prevent plastic dust in the workings (due to friction), DNM to maintain the raw speed, and tightening the tensions to prevent lockups. After the setup, the cube has a very fast turning with a moderate flex to it and a satisfying feel. Magnet strength in the cube is strong to weak from inner 3 layers to the outer layer. This cube is very stable even though it's flexible but, that does not mean that it's an end of an era of lockups. I've experienced jumbling due to rough turning. Because of this cube, I now averaged 4:10-4:20 with a PB of 3:43. Overall I recommend this cube if you like fast 7x7 and flexiness. Also, thanks to Kevin Hays (favorite cuber) and YuXin for designing this cube to be this good.
