I used the Stevens YLM to break the North American Record single of 0.98 seconds over 9 tps. I have been unable to achieve the same time on any of my other pyraminxes.

It is the best pyraminx I’ve ever had

This is a very high quality pyraminx, the tips are silky smooth with perfect magnet strength and the inner layers corner cut great and have a smooth and satisfying magnetic bump after each turn. The lube service is very great and compliments the pyraminx very well. If you are looking into a new pyraminx, get this.

After hundreds and hundreds of solves, I think everything is broken in and as it should be. It locks up quite a bit and doesn’t turn too fast. My previous pyras were the X-man bell V2 and gan enhanced and I’m definitely going back to maining one of those 2. Quite disappointed in this purchase. The tips are perfect though but that’s about it

The cube was a little dry when I did first turns and still retained a sort of dry feel after break in but became more silky smooth than it was before. Out of the box It felt lubed but it wasn’t really silky smooth which is something I didn’t expect. The turning flows really nicely and it made me forget that it was a budget Pyraminx because it has a high level of performance and it’s feel is very premium. It’s the slightest bit catchy but that it’s much of an issue. The tips are AMAZING!! I didn’t turn the tips until a few mins after I turned the other layers of the puzzle so I wasn’t expecting them to feel SO silky smooth. They are by far the best Pyraminx tips I have ever tried. They aren’t too fast nor too slow and as I said before the feel is excellent! I had thought there was a loose magnet or spring noise but later found that the tips just make that noise in general. Overall I think it’s a great cube. It wasn’t absolutely mind blowing as I already own some top of the line Pyraminxs so there were only some minor differences in performance but it definitely is one of the best Pyraminxs on the market and in my opinion it is better than the gan and slightly better than the mr m.

I used to hate pyraminx, I rarely practiced the event, and I averaged maybe sub-20. My main was a really slow Bell V2. It was good I guess, but the magnets were too weak, and I just don't like the speed. So I bought this. At first I thought it was pretty good. A little too dry for my liking. I did a few break-in solves and started to improve my times. I added some Dignitas and Mystic which made me like the cube even more. With the roughly 500 solves I've done on this cube in the last month, I've seen myself practice the event more often than usual. At the time of writing this review, I have received three PB singles on this puzzle, including my first sub-5 solve. I am consistently averaging sub-12 now.

i got this quite a while ago, ootb i personally didnt like it, i found it quite slow and slippery but after break in this cube is mind blowing! ive broken countless pbs with it and i enjoy the turning and feel overall, great job to steven for making a fantastic cube :) i recently ordered the weilong aswell so ill make a review later on

I had a gan pyraminx before this which was okay but, this pyraminx is really great and has really good turning. Definitely my top pyraminx.
