Product Description

The Cyclone Boys FeiHu 2x2 is the first commercially-available sculpted 2x2. As a sculpted cube, the FeiHu 2x2 features subtle indentations on all the pieces that help with gripping the sides. The FeiHu 2x2 performs very well right out of the box, and it has a fast but controllable feel to it.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Cyclone Boys FeiHu 2x2 (Sculpted)

First, I got this from speedcubestore.co.uk so don't get confused.
The turning is really good out of the box and the tensions are not too loose and not too tight. The grip is 10/10. 2 bad things: it is very loud and it randomly locks up everywhere. Corner cutting is about 45 degrees and reverse cutting is about the normal. Anyway, this cube is great for just 6 bucks. :)

wow just wow

Not to shabby for 6 bucks.
Corner-cutting: 10/10
Speed 10/10
Shades: 9/10
control: 8/10
Grip: 100/10

Overall: 9.5/10
Really nice overall but the control is a bit overshooting but i highly recommend it over the MGC

Awesome

I got this cube along with other things, and this stood out the most by far. It was a little greasy, so the ridges helped a lot! One star. The performance, at least for me, was amazing for my level. Two stars. The shades are really nice. On a different Cyclone Boys cube that I have, the orange was a salmon color. Three stars. Corner cutting is close to 45 degrees. At first I was disappointed at this, but usually I don’t undershoot on this. That’s the fourth and fifth star. Would recommend for beginners and advance solvers.

Really good for the price

This cube has SPECTACULAR corner cutting, and its pretty smooth, but if this is a cube you want to take to school, I would reconsider. This cube is REALLY loud.

Great Cube but....

The cube is great for fiddling around with but I would never do an official solve with it. It locks up during a solve and is almost worth the buy.

Not Too Shabby

I got this as it looked interesting to have sculpted sides on a 2x2. Those indentations on the sides though as not so subtle as the description suggests. They are quite prominent actually. It doesn't hurt the puzzle's performance, in fact, I'd say they help with grip, just that it's something to consider if you prefer something like a QiYi Sculpted Megaminx. For turning performance it can cut 45 degrees, is speedy and moves relatively smooth. But does lock up every so often for some reason. I tried various tensions and none seemed to resolve it. It's not the reverse cutting either (like something internally catching if slightly off line) as it can do that a bit due to the large florian holes in the center and internal piece design. So I'm a bit baffled. (Yes, I did lube it so there's no stickage too)

The colors are fantastic and are among my favorites on any cube. Bright and bold are the best way to describe them as there's no way you'll mistake one for another. The above pic about summarizes their shades, though the red is a bit lighter than the shade shown in the image. Also, one thing you can't really see in the image is that the outer edge bumps are glossy while the indents are frosted. Which further sets this one apart in the looks department.

Love it

It is really good and fast but a little loud

Just okay

Out of the box it was very very poor, after adding some dnm37 it didn't really affect it. Definitely made for slower turning styles and begginers. After about 100 solved it still hasn't improved

Best Cyclone Boys 2x2

My friend let me try his regular Cyclone Boys 2x2, and it was awful. I decided to buy this sculpted Cyclone Boys 2x2, and it was amazing! I used default tensions, and lubed it with vasoline, which made it more quiet and slightly faster. Perfect grip for me. I decided to use this as an upgrade from my Rubik's 2x2, since I am starting speedcubing 2x2, and this is easily as nice as the Gan 356 Air SM, in my opinion. Perfect for starting, and possibly will always be my main. This is my experience with this cube so far. I have only had 2 internal pops, but I easily recovered. No external pops yet.

My Cube is awesome!

I took the cube out of the box and it was way better than my other cyclone boys 2x2! When I practice with my old cyclone boys 2x2 I usually got around 14 sec but on my first 5 solves with this cube I got all below 10 sec.
