Z Mini 2x2 Keychain Cube

OOTB this cube turns wells but is on tight tensions. It comes in a stickerless capped design like the Wuxia, 249, and Zanlong. The internals of this cube are blue and give the yellow side a slightly greenish tint. Unlike the cubes listed above the Z 2x2 caps come off easily but haven't even shook slightly during rough turning. The size of this cube is proportional to the size of the corners on a standard 3x3. I would give this 4 1/2 stars for the blue internals on yellow but it is more on the side of 5 stars than 4.

For $3, you get what you pay for here. Cheap. It arrived all sorts of busted up. A few of the caps weren't attached. It turns like.. well, an original Rubik's... so it's rough. And it's pretty big. It won't fit in your pockets (jeans), unless you're talking about like pockets in a coat or a hoodie. I'll give it a 3 star rating for it's price range.

Despite what most of the other reviews about this mini 2x2 say it's a very good puzzle. After you lube and properly tension it it's a decently good keychain 2x2. I lubed it with weight 5 cubicle silicone lube. it's now one of the 2 main keychain puzzles I keep on my keyring/keys. But one thing you should do if you really want to use it like a keychain toy is to glue down the corner caps that the chain is hooked onto. Plus I like how it has a clip that makes it easy to remove the chain for the times when you want to solve it without the chain attached to the puzzle. One last thing is that I wish more companies would make more of these Keychain puzzles that are stickerless and have modern speedcube style mechs.

For its size this keychain actually turns pretty good it came in today and turns really well. I’m used to a 3x3 so it’s a little weird. Good cube though

Definitely the best turning key chain cube I have, since I only have 2 others. The only real problem with it is that the puzzle has caps, and the 2 caps that are attached to the key chain come off really easily, so you'll have to superglue them down. other than that, good puzzle.

Its an okay keychain cube. It can corner cut a little and turns faster after lubing and solving. Good for your keys or on the go. Just get it for your collection.

As you all know, probably from my 2x2 Angstrom WeiPo M review, then y'all KNOW I love 2x2s. For the first time in a while, (a while being when the GAN 249 V1 released), I found ONE. SINGLE. FLAW. with this cube. Actually more than that:

1. It is a Z-Cube, and I haven't been really fond of them ever since they had those terrible sticker textures for the 1x2x3 Christmas Tree.

2. These cubes can break very easily with minimal effort.

3. The keychain is honestly annoying sometimes, and I don't usually like it.

That being said, I absolutely love that they took initiative and changed the texture for this cube. I obviously had to get this since I love 2x2's and they're my favorite event, but I decide to take the keychain off when I do decide to actually solve it. That's pretty much why I'm giving this cube four stars. I do hope companies decide to make mini 2x2s like this one, but I know not a lot of people are fond about solving 2x2s in general. Moyu, please make a mini 2x2 for us 2x2 lovers WITHOUT a keychain. Lol I get too intertwined into these reviews xD
