Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Good for $5, but get the QiYi version...

Difficulty: 2/10
Playability: 10/10
Quality: 3/10

OVERVIEW: This is one of the few Gear Cubes to include those center pieces, adding a slight complexity while being cheaper than the competition. However, it is very cheaply made and loose. I got this cube because it best matched my stickerless collection the best, but it's so loose that pieces will randomly turn in place, and it was kind of smelly out of the box. If I could choose again, I would've bought the QiYi version.

PROS: Cheap and moves very well
CONS: The colors are weird, and it smelled gross out of the box. Also it was very loose.

Great, not perfect, but still the one to get

At the time of writing, this is the only gear cube in The Cubicle where the small pieces between the centers and the geared edges are colored. This adds some much needed complexity to an otherwise very easy puzzle that you will be missing out on if you get any version where these pieces aren't colored.

That said, do not be surprised if sometimes one of the geared edges in this puzzle occasionally skips a tooth. Luckily it will almost always be obvious which one it is, as it will be the only gear in the orbit that doesn't have the same degree of rotation as the other three, and it's also quite easy to twist it back to the angle it should be. Nonetheless, it is still annoying that this happens at all, hence the one star deduction.

Great Puzzle

I got this because I wanted a gear cube that did not have stickers. I also own the Hello Cube Gear Shift 3x3 and 2x2. The size of this cube was a bit smaller than I was anticipating, but the turning is smooth and quiet and the quality is amazing for the price. Gear cubes are certainly easier than regular 3x3's, but to non-cubers, they look incredibly difficult and you do not have to tell them how easy they are. If you enjoy Gear Cubes, this is a must buy.

Amazing

It's a beginner puzzle. Interesting. Just because it looks hard doesn't mean you can't solve it. It's got easy algorithms and makes a good trick

Gear up for fun!

This cube as a puzzle isn’t so terribly hard (actually kind of easy once you figure it out), but turns nicely, looks cool, and for me is just a great fidget cube. I prefer it in size, weight, feel, and noisiness to the Meffert’s gear ball. Def recommended!

Pretty good turning, a lot quieter than I thought it would be

Well Made

Its turning isn’t amazing, but the build up quality is great for $6. Nothing pops off and it doesn’t feel cheap.

Works like a regular gear cube, just what I expected. Locks up sometimes.

Not The One To Buy

In the past I might have recommended this puzzle. But the new Qiyi version is much better. Don't be fooled by the appearance of the Qiyi. It doesn't have the little interior pieces that you find on this cube and on the Gear Ball. BUT...it is actually the same puzzle. Stick with the Qiyi.
