Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

A cube with potential

Bought this cube back when it first came out (early 2013). After maybe a month using it some of the corner stocks started to brake, so I got a brand new one. Today this cube is one of the best Dayan 3x3s I’ve got. After years of use the cube is very broken in and the blocky feeling is not noticeable anymore. I’ve since used modern lube such as DNM 37 and some no name lube I bought from the hobby store which makes it fast and less locky. In the future I plan on maybe adding magnets and/or gluing the corner stocks together. Overall a good cube it just seems fragile and blocky when you first get it, with time it gets good.

Wth Dayan?

Oof, where do I start. The turning is super slow but smooth. It can't corner cut over 45 degrees, which is unacceptable in today's standards. It is also very blocky. I would've given it 1 star if it didn't have these good of stickers. A Taiyan is better than this heap of junk. DONT BUY IT.

I mean this cube sucks it cant do a 45 degree corner cut it pops a lot and it breaks randomly. overall it is a terrible cube this cube costs $15.89 when you can get the YuXin for $9 or the YuXin Fire for $5 and even a lot of MoYu or other companies make better cubes for better prices.

I bought this cube because of CrazyBadCuber's great review. After playing with the cube myself I saw that straight out of the box it was very blocky, clicky, and not very smooth at all. It does corner cut 45 and reverse about 1/2 a piece. When the Guhong v2 came out all the speed fibers were facinated with the cube and thought that nobody could make a better cube. And then the zhanchi came out which set the bar very high for the panshi, the cube didn't meet the expectations and I believe a v2 will come out sooner or later. Over this cube has a D+ rating compared to an A by the zhanchi. I recommend this cube for new speed cubers that want to try to get faster. But definitely not something for an advanced speed cyber like myself.

Review

I really like this cube; I don't understand all the poor reviews. I use mine without the torpedoes, so i get an occassional pop... but no corner twists, like I frequently get with the fanshi shuang ren. It is clacky, but i like that. It has been my main for the last 3 months or so.

Don't buy these cube for several reasons:
- tend to stuck.
-the torpedoes brakes.
-the cube itself brakes.
you can find everywhere people saying that the cube brakes and i am one of them.
- you can have the dayan zhanchi or the moyu weilong that are much better.

Most people do not believe this is a good cube. It is true that it is not as good as the Zhanchi and is not as fast as the Moyu Weilong, but it is still a very nice cube. Its speed is average - not fast, not slow, and has a nice tactile feel. One downside to the cube is that it does not maintain a cubic shape very well.
Although there are other better cubes, I still like this cube.

This is not a good cube. If you dissemble it to lube it, there is a high chance that the torpedos break. Therefor a few shops just sell them without torpedos. I ask myself how Dayan could create such a bad cube. After all with the Zhanchi, the Guhong and the Lingyun they brought out a few of the finest cubes in the market.

Very smooth and good but not as fast as a zhanchi and very bumpy feel
