The Angstrom GAN 356 XS is a lightweight, fast and innovative puzzle produced by GAN. This puzzle features an improved lightweight design with adjustable magnet strengths and a dual-adjustment tensioning system. This puzzle is lubed with Lubicle Black on the core, and Angstrom Dignitas, Angstrom Gravitas, and DNM-37 on the pieces. This setup provides a fast yet stable feel that is superior to a traditional silicone set up. The Angstrom GAN 356 XS comes setup with the light blue nuts on tension, compression at 3, and magnets at medium strength.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Moves effortlessly. Angstrom setup feels great for modern Gan cubes, gives them a smooth feel without slowing them down or losing the papery feel. I get my best times on this cube, only comment is that my Gan 356 M Lite that I setup myself with Angstrom lubes is near indistinguishable, so highly recommend it as a budget option.
It got a fantastic smooth feeling and it can corner cut from everywhere.It is a great cube, and I love it.

This cube is perfect: Fast, Smooth turning and Stable. Small cornercuts are really smooth, you can't really feel it's cornercutting, I really like that!

WOW this puzzle, mixed with Angstrom lube is perfect. It's so light and fast compared to the GAN X and X V2. but with the Gravitas deep in there is just butter. Im settling in on the medium magnet strength. But dang its hard to set the magnets back in the middle. the Dignitas is so cool i can't explain how much you feel it working, just doin its job on the honeycombs. i added 2 drops of compound X a day after i got the cube. and its so fun to use, effortlessly flow from turn to turn. cuts everything without question.

Cubicle took a clearly great cube and made it superb with the Angstrom Gan 356 XS.
It’s light at 67g but I am fine with my other 80+g cubes. Every colour of the stickerless is perfect except yellow, which honestly sucks. In dim light, it starts to blend with white and I constantly confuse them.
While matte is a bit less grippy than the standard gloss stickerless cubes it’s not an issue for me and I like that it doesn’t attract fingerprints.
This is my first cube with magnets; it’s set to medium. I planned to change them to strong. The opposite occurred. I only want the magnets strong enough to create neat 90 degree corners on turns. Anything stronger is overkill. I set the magnets to light to test and have remained there.
While the Angstrom sticker on red has grown on me, the 356 XS centre white piece is silk screened on, so I think they should have included it. They do include the six centre pieces for the Gan robotic solver so I may swap them out. Would have liked Cubicle to include the Gan packaging and bag. The tools and tension pieces are included.
The Angstrom set up is fast yet stable with no gummy break-in. I quickly got my PB by six seconds... twice. Both the lubricants Cubicle use and cubes have come a long way in three years. This is my first Gan cube and it’s impressive when combined with the Cubicle setup. So impressive that it has quickly become my new main.
Honestly not sure why I paid extra. The setup wasn’t anything I couldn’t really do myself. That being said, I put some dnm 37 in after to speed it up nicely. The tensions it came in are a bit too tight. Nice for stability but I want speed.
