Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Very nice!

I am not a speed cubist, I am just someone who has loved solving twisty puzzles all her life and has been amazed by the variants that have been created since the humble 3x3 hooked the world...

After recently treating myself to the Little Magic 6x6M and 7x7M and enjoying those, I took a chance with the Little Magic 8x8 and 9x9 ...

Both arrived with a bit of lube on the faces (see pic), which wiped off nicely. Unlike the 6x6M and 7x7M, these are made with the standard milky white plastic and the colors are essentially caps (so you see white instead of split colors as you turn slices). The faces are also a matte finish, which nicely adds a tiny bit more grip to these larger puzzles. I found the slices on the 6x6M to be about as small as I like for my finger size, and the 7x7M were too small due to the overall small size of the cube (which really slows me down by having to double-turn to turn a slice). Sure, they are not speed cubes - I am just talking of my preference on how I like to turn a puzzle with my fingering style... The slices on the 9x9 are nearly identical to the 7x7M which, combined with the bigger overall size, means there will be no slice turn shortcuts with my larger hands. Despite the lube on the faces, this puzzle likely needs a drop of some sort of lube. Amazingly, every slice turns with the same effort on every axis, so I'm very happy with how smooth it is... This puzzle is a comfortable size in my hands overall, which makes it a joy to manipulate. That said, it's at the weight where after you play with it for two hours, you may start to notice it... :) I have had no issues with pops/twists/alignment and find it surprisingly tolerant of such things. I do think that if they came out with a magnetic version of these two, that it would be helpful to give it that little boost of structural integrity that could put people's opinions of large cubes over the proverbial top...!

Oh, one thing I keep forgetting to mention in my reviews are the colors. I really liked how vibrant the 6x6M was, and even saw it as a slight improvement over the traditional Rubik's color scheme. Then the 7x7M had that washed out blue and red, which was ok... Then the 8x8 and 9x9 being cap-style (and thus thinner with white backing it) made those washed out even more. I suppose they still maintain good color separation in assorted lighting, but I would much rather have the bolder colors of the 6x6M on all the rest of the Little Magic line... Maybe that'll happen when/if they magnetize the bigger cubes? Hehehe - a girl can dream!

All told, I am very happy with this puzzle... 🙋‍♀️

Good BIG Cube

I ordered this cube as my first 9x9. I solved it once and returned it for a smaller one. Nothing wrong with it. It turned nicely OOTB, and I'm sure it would have gotten even better with subsequent solves and some lube, but at 90mm it was just a bit too big to be a comfortable solve.
I exchanged it for an 9x9 MFJS Meilong (74mm).
There's nothing wrong with YuXin Little Magic 9x9 if you don't mind a good hand workout!

Great cube, but some small problems

This is an amazing cube. It doesn't feel like a budget cube at all. Amazing performance, great almost-two-piece corner cutting. The only thing I will say though is it doen't fit in my hands as well as something like the Meilong. So if you're going for fitting in hands well, definently go for the Meilong, but if you're going for how well it turns (And also have big hands) then certainly go for this.

Best Cube In My Collection, but nasty.

This cube is AMAZING. It has a super satisfying crunchy feel that could put someone to sleep. It is very smooth and corner-cutting is pretty decent for such a big cube. Shades are really nice. The only problem with this cube is that it is SUPER yucky and greasy on the outside. Basically just have some wet wipes near you when you unbox this .

So clunky, I'm not even able to scramble it.

This cube is huge. I didn't see the thing is 90 mm.

It's clunky and hard to turn, locking up if you aren't perfectly lined up. It's so unenjoyable to use, I've not even been able to scramble it, let alone tried a solve.

This was basically a wasted $35 for a cube I will never use.

The image shows how enormous it is compared to my older 9x9. The YuXin "Little" Magic is on the bottom.

Great quality and price

Super smooth turning right out of the box, tensioned well, and has a very nice vibrant colour scheme. At 90mm wide it is decently sized and doesn't require a table to solve. The pricepoint is great for this cube as other 9x9s can run for almost double the price. The bigger size allows for bigger pieces so this puzzle is less likely to break. Very impressed!

Great Cube

First thing to mention is that this cube, as others have mentioned, is pretty big. If you don’t have large hands I would discourage you from purchasing this cube. With that said, this was my first 9x9, but it feels great. Smooth turning and handles as well as a 9x9 could. Minimal catching and I haven’t had any pops or lockups. Highly recommend the YLM line of cubes.

Really good turning, but really big

This cube turns very well and would recommend to anyone who has big-ish hands because this cube is huge, but otherwise it turns amazingly.
