Product Description
The MoYu RS3 M+ Magnet Kit is a set of 26 very small magnets. These are intended to be used with the RS3 M 2020 and RS3 M 2021 (MagLev) to strengthen the magnetic feel. Simply open each edge, and place two of these inside, one on top of each of the existing magnets (on top of the plastic works just fine). There is no need for glue, or to worry about polarity. Just drop them in, and feel the difference!

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I'm not a cuber, but I needed small magnets for a project I was working on. They're small but strong, so in other words they're perfect!
The stock magnets in the RS3 M+ are pretty weak. I'm not nearly as fast with speedcubing as I was in 8th grade (year = 1981). Although my speed then was 52 seconds, that was with the only available cube - The original "Rubik's Cube". We had to drill holes to loosen the screws, file down the inside corners, and lubricate with whatever we had (3-in-1 oil). When we raced head-to-head back then, it was quite common to have a total blow-out. That being said, I scrutinize every "advancement" the industry puts out. The stock magnetic setup in each of the M series cubes is cute, but, when I compare to my original Rubik's Cube, it's only a marginal improvement over what I accomplished with a drill, screwdriver, file, sandpaper and oil. This magnet set puts it where it should be.

The RS3M 2020 is the undisputed king of budget cubes, and this makes it even better. After solving on the RS3M 2020 for a while my one complaint was that the magnets were a little too weak. This kit fixes that and is very easy to install. Simply take the cube apart, pull the two colored halves of each edge apart, and drop in one magnet in each half, right on the plastic forming the magnet slot. Very intuitive and easy for anyone to do, regardless of whether they have any experience magnetizing cubes. The kit includes an extra 2 magnets as well which is a nice touch.
The only issue I have (and this isn't an issue with this kit) is that in the 2 cubes I've added these to, I had one edge which was difficult to open. Most edges easily came apart but one required a little more force to separate. It came once I pulled harder, so know that if you have a stubborn piece you should just use some force getting it apart.
These magnets make a noticeable difference but are not overpowering. I would classify the RS3M 2020 ootb as medium-light magnets and the RS3M 2020 with these installed as medium, leaning towards the stronger end.

worked very well, however i didn’t know it was only for the edges so i only got to magnetize the top layer and some of the F2L layers😅
I always felt the RS3M a little unbalanced for it's weight and speed, this kit fixes it for me.

I love the RSM but I wanted a little stronger magnets in it. I tried out the Angstrom RS3 M 2020+ and Celeritas RS3 M 2020+ 3x3s. I absolutely love those so I bought these and basically threw them in the stock RS3 m and am very pleased.
Now, when you install them, be ready to have 2 extra magnets in the bag. I was convinced I'd missed a piece and took mine all the way back apart just to make sure I hadn't missed any.
I bought these magnets for my MoYu RS3M 2020. They advertised 26 magnets. I only got 14 magnets. I only needed 12 magnets for that cube so I didn't complain or return them. If I wanted to use these magnets for more than one cube I wouldn't have been able to. I Am Not totally disappointed with these magnets. They served their purpose and did perform well enough. I highly recommend buying the MoYu RS3M extra magnets because without them the magnet strength is not strong enough.
I find the Rs3m's stock magnet strength to be a bit on the weak side, and this certainly helped and was easy to install (no glue required).
