Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Good acquisition

The tips are a bit stiff but overall I really like this puzzle. Nice addition to my collection

Always read the fine print!

Not taking my own advice, I didn't realize this puzzle came in the Japanese (4) Color Scheme only and assumed it had the 6 color configuration as shown in the pictures. The 4 way color scheme seems to slightly change the solve and I think it's more difficult than the 6 color scheme, but I haven't scrambled it yet to try it out. I've solved the 6 color scheme version once from a twisty puzzle simulator and found the puzzle to be fun and quite challenging, but not too difficult. It's great that it can be solved intuitively as well, you just need to learn how to cycle pieces from the deeper dino cuts to the dino cut tips and vise versa.
As for the puzzle itself, I would give it 3 stars ootb and 4 stars as I currently have it. The build quality overall is nice and solid, but the dino tips are all extremely hard to turn. You need to make sure all three sides are aligned properly before it can even turn, but the turning is very stiff from a lot of friction. It definitely needs some lube and breaking in to become more manageable. I've sat there twisting the tips over and over to help break them in and it's slowly improving to normal turning ability, but it takes some work to make this puzzle fully useable. The tips of the dino tip turns are a bit sharp as well, so the difficult turning and sharp points can poke you as well if you're not careful.
As for the stickers, they're all placed well and seem to be holding up fine, but the four inner squares all have a crease in the middle of the stickers which looks a little sloppy. Not sure why they're like that. Those pieces also look like they could split down the middle at the inner point of the squares, but they seems to be fused on their outer edges (if you can understand what I mean), so it makes it look like the stickers are bandaging those 4 square pieces into place.
Since I didn't like this color scheme, I decided to order some custom stickers so I can change it to the 6 color version. I should have those soon, but I'm going to try a solve in the current configuration before I resticker the puzzle. After the puzzle is restickered and fully broken in, I would probably give it 5 stars.
Overall, not a bad puzzle, it just needs breaking in, but I do think it's about twice the price it should be.

Decent, but having problems with the corners

Quite a different solve, and interesting to collectors, though the corners are turning pretty badly. I tried lube, but to no avail, seems to be a problem with the mechanism itself, it seems to rub against the springs when turning. For that price, I expected better.

Unique

The puzzle has a fun solving process that requires knowledge from different Rubik’s Cubes like the Dino Cube. This makes it excellent for collectors like myself who are looking for a variety of puzzles, not just a lot of the major ones.
