The CubeStyle Kilominx is a simplified Megaminx puzzle that consists entirely of corner and center parts. It is also known as the 2x2 megaminx. Please note that this particular variant of the kilominx differs from traditional kilominxes due to its colored center caps, which makes solving this puzzle more like solving a traditional megaminx due to the fixed centers.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.
The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

I was very disappointed when I received this cube. It was extremely tight and could not corner cut at all. This can be improved with tensioning and lubrication, however. My biggest problem with this cube is that, unlike the image, the inner edges are YELLOW, not black. The insides of the corners are also yellow. This looks terrible, and I was very disappointed when I saw it. Do not buy this cube, get the Meilong instead. The shades are also not great - the blue is more like an indigo/navy.
There definitely are a couple worse cubes out there, but this thing still is pretty bad. My brother got this cube as well as others for his birthday and he let me try a couple out. This was by far our least favorite. It commonly locks up and is stiff and slow. Even lube doesn't help it that much. Considering the shengshou one is the same price and much better, I dont know why he got this one. Not a must have

So it's okay it is my only one but I give it a 2 star because it dose turn but it done not corner cut at all and other parts of the puzzle turn better or worse than other parts of the the puzzle and I give it one of it's stars because it turns and the other star because I am nice.
alright so when i first took this cube out of the package, i was very disappointed to find an extra blue piece on the green side. i was very annoyed because i was planning on learning to solve this. one other thing i didn't like was the fact that there were two green sides that looked practically identical to me, because i am mildly colorblind to red/green and i know that is very common in other people as well. there is also a set of almost identical white and tan-ish sides on the cube. the two blue sides also look similar. Overall, i am not a fan of this puzzle.
Out of the box it is TERRIBLE. but, with some lubing with Maru and weight 1, it becomes better. It is also very tight, so you need to use an X-Acto knife to pry the center caps off, then loosen it.
out of the box it was terrible, later i put a lot of lube and it got a lot better, but still little harder :) turning can be stift but its not that bad ;)
