Product Description

The GAN356 Air UM Max Park Signature Edition is a replica of the cube used by Max Park in his recent 6.39 World Record 3x3 average. This cube is tuned to Max's exact specifications and comes with yellow GES nuts pre-installed, a lube combination of Cubicle Weight 5 on the core and Lubicle Silk on the pieces, and slightly looser tensions. Max's setup accentuates the Air UM's speed and freedom of turning, producing a cube with maximum quickness and smoothness.

This cube comes with a tensioning tool, a special Max Park Signature VIP card, a package containing the six other GES nuts, and an exclusive pamphlet with biographical information on Max.

Limited Edition: To commemorate Max Park's 6.39 WR average, only 639 of the GAN 356 Air UM Max Park Signature Edition will be available. Each puzzle will ship with a numbered VIP card, with numbers from 50001 to 50639.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

My best 3x3

Got this 2 years ago and it’s still my best 3x3. Also it will never be in stock, as it was a limited run for the world record that Max Parks made. I believe they sold just over 400, if I recall correctly.

This was an AWESOME cube, but the reason I gave it 3 stars, its because after a few month the magnets seems to fall off and you can't take the piece apart, but if the piece could be opened, I would rate it 5 stars.

Amazing But...

It is a very good cube. I just love the feel of it. It came out smooth and buttery right out of the box. Although the only problem is the shipping time.

I live in the UAE and it took almost 30 days to come. I was so excited though.

Very good cube

Because of many reviews of the GAN UM, I dont want describe the performance and so on. This cube is a UM with the setup of Max Parks WR cube, setup from Cubicle Labs. It is worth it, if you dont have a UM and want a cube with a really good setup.

DEFINITELY MY MAIN!!!

While waiting for the cube, I was super excited because as we all know Gan has created amazing cubes. When the cube arrived I was amazed at how smooth the cube was. After about 500+ solves on it, I switched to the Yellow GES nuts and it was phenomenal. Definitely gonna be my main for a while.

Great Cube

This is an amazing cube. When I got it in the mail it had fallen out of the package, but was still in great condition. At first the cube felt a little tight, but in a controllable way. The magnets are amazing for stability. I was using a MoYu Weilong GTS and immediately started using the Gan instead. Both are great cubes but the feel of the Gan was just superior. I would recommend this cube to anyone and everyone. You will not regret it.

Disappointing out of the box!

Firstly, I have never owned a magnetic 3x3, so as you might imagine, I was quite excited to receive this puzzle.

When it arrived, I performed several test turns on the cube, I noticed a major flaw.
The cube was dry, tight, and stickers had numerous bubbles within them. After checking the product page on the website, the Cubicle claims that it the puzzle is set up similar to Max Park's then-world record cube; however, it seems that mine had no setup done to it. Although that was one very big negative aspect about the cube, I must say, the cube itself is a wonderful product as it performs as one would expect. For me, the magnets were too strong for my liking, I would rather prefer lighter ones, but since this was my first one, it passed. The feel of the cube can only be described as this : 'Feels like a Gans 356 Air with bumpy turns.'
Personally, I would only purchase this cube under two circumstances, first off, if you have the budget to purchase this cube, and secondly, if you want to collect this as a momento, and finally, if you don't want to magnetize your cube by hand, otherwise, you would be better off manually magnetizing your puzzle.

After PROPERLY setting it up and loosening the tensions, the Gans 356 UM is decent enough for practice for me, but due to the strength of the magnets, this puzzle will not replace my main, the Valk 3.

An LE Cube that you can actually use

So I just want to say that the very first 5 solves I did with this cube broke my Ao5 PB, which haven't been broken for 1-2 months. Finally a Limited Edition cube that you can possibly use as your main! This cube is really fast, but at the same time very controllable. I can see how someone can break a world record with this cube. It has allowed me to set many PBs within the first 50 solves of this cube. And plus its a cheaper UM! Compared to my old UM, this one is fast and controllable, yet my old UM now feels sluggish and slow. Amazing cube!

Amazing

This cube is the BEST cube i have ever got! The turning is amazing and the corner cutting is well over 45degrees. I reccomend this cube to EVERYONE!!!
