Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

All you need to do is tighten it a bit. Then it becomes better. So, here’s the story. One time I got the shengshou mastermorphix. It was the same brand, but I LOOSENED IT. When that happened, a pop occurred but it wasn’t only a pop, it was an explosion. So that’s why you never want to loosen shengshou morphix puzzles! (I eventually saw that the screw was broken in my mastermorphix.)

It still works fine when it’s tightened. It would be crazy if I got a pop on this thing! I’m not very good fixing pops... Anyways, It’s still working fine on my desk. It’s not too pricey for a puzzle like this. So, it’s worth it if you tighten it. (Do about a little more than a half twist.)

Fun

A nice, smooth-turning, pillowed puzzle with new algorithms to learn to fix center parities, but are still fun to execute. It takes time getting used to initially, but you’ll get the hang of it after 10 or so solves, as I did. I now find myself picking it up every day for a solve.

Not the best but it's ok

I got it for my birthday and I did first turns and it wasn't that good, also it had the wrong color scheme but that doesn't matter, anyway the cube is ok.

meets expectations

As with most shape mods I wasn't expecting top of the line turning, the puzzle did turn fairly well. sometimes alignment is a bit of an issue but if you're not trying to fingertrick it there shouldn't be a problem.

One thing that maybe worth noting is that the color scheme is different from all my other morphix puzzles. assuming the line between yellow/red is facing you the lefun pyramorphix (2x2), the shengshou pyramorphix (2x2), the mofang mastermorphix (3x3), and the shengshou gigamorphix (5x5) all have green on the bottom and blue in the back, but the shengshou megamorphix (4x4) has green in the back and blue on the bottom. It isn't really a big issue but something to think about if you have your collection in any sort of display.

Gotta say, it’s pretty good

I’d wanted a Megamorphix for a while, and when looking at what to buy I chose the Shenshou since I already had the Mastermirphix. As others have mentioned, the puzzle can be somewhat difficult to align, but with patience, and not tying to go fast, it really isn’t that bad. I’ve had mine for over a year and have never had a pop, and I’m not one to adjust puzzles. I didn’t notice the scheme difference mainly because my Mastermorphix has the old shengshou colors and doesn’t match anyway. Either way that doesn’t bother me much, but that’s up to you

Good quality but inconsistent color scheme

A minor gripe but as others have noted, 2 of the colors came swapped so the color scheme is out of line with the rest of my Shengshou *morphix puzzles. My pyra, master, and gigamorphixes all follow the same scheme but the mega is different. ...Which is particularly devious when you're solving them all in a row and you use the normal color scheme to position the 2x2 centers on the megamorphix and then later can't figure out why the first layer corners aren't fitting right.

The puzzle itself is good though. Good quality and turns smoothly.

No thank you

When I received this puzzle, it already had a good amount of wear on it. It has scratches and scuffs on all side and the pieces dont seem to fit very well together. On top of all of that, it has a different color scheme than my Gigamorphix and Master morphix (both ShengShou and Qiyi) This one has yellow and green flipped. Would not recommend.

Pops Galore!

I agree with the other reviewer that stickerless variants are appealing when there are so many small pieces. The Moyu puzzle is mechanically far superior to this puzzle, but the stickers are its downfall.

This puzzle is reasonably priced and is fun to use. HOWEVER, it has popped on my twice now in the week or so that I've had it, and so the real challenge is not solving the puzzle but rather rebuilding it after a pop. I find the rebuild to be fun, if unexpected, but it's hard to do without a friend to help hold it.

I highly recommend the *morphix family of puzzles, as well as the Moyu Axis puzzles. In this case, I'd recommend going for the Moyu Aosu puzzle with a set of replacement stickers.

Have fun!

Great puzzle, hard to align

I love the puzzle. It's way harder than you think. Make sure you have a normal 4x4x4 handy to test ideas on, and maybe even a Mastermorphix.

Actually I haven't even fully solved it yet because the parity issues are deeply confusing with the indistinct colour shapes. It's a grand challenge.

My problem with the cube however is that it is very hard to align. The tiny corner/centre triangle pieces are so small it frequently gets a little turned the wrong way and this is quite distracting - especially considering how complicated the cube is to actually solve.

Also I'm harsh on this because I'm coming from the QiYi Mastermorphix which I found to be a lot better for alignment and cheaper too (for what it is even)

I would say 3.5 stars if I could. There aren't a lot of alternatives and this still is cheap. If you're on a budget and can be patient about alignment (turn carefully) then it's still good value.

However, for me I'd like to get the same puzzle but in a better quality build so that the alignment/movement doesn't detract so much from solving.
