The YJ Axis Cube V2 is the latest version of the classic 3x3 shape mod. It features an improved mechanism and design that appears to be adapted from the YJ SuLong, and it is stickered with the standard MoYu color scheme.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

This things amazing, even better than the mirror cube

I first tried out the mirror cube for my first shape mod, then the pyraminx, but this thing is a level above. Everytime i solve it I just unsolve it and put it back on display, it's just so cool to look at. Even better than a mirror cube. Just buy one, you won't regret it, unless of course you're one of those "weird" people who don't like cubes.......But then you wouldn't be on this website would you? Hah.

Good Buy

This was the first shape mod I ever bought, and I'm glad I did. It was really dry out of the box, and the turning was not too great. However, I took it completely apart and lubricated everything, tensioned it and now it turns great! It's a fun mod and I would recommend it. If you're like me and you don't like the color of the stickers, they sell replacement ones here which is great.

Pretty challenging!!!

Even though learning a 3 by 3 is easy this cube on the other hand is actually really hard to figure out what's a center,Conners,and edges but after a will it was easy

Harder than you think

This cube is very challenging despite just being a 3x3 shape mod. I naively thought that because I could easily solve a mirror block, the Axis cube would not be much more difficult. But it is! You have to go very slowly and carefully. One interesting aspect of this cube is center pieces are actually at the corners, which means that unlike a 3x3 or even a mirror block, you have to have them in a proper orientation and can't treat them as unmoving pieces. Just one of the many ways this cube challenges!

I got this same cube from somewhere else I think and when I messed it up I said it looks like a hedgehog and then I did my first solve by... Taking it apart but the cube is amazing

Great Puzzle!

This puzzle is awesome! It's difficult, in learning how to view the puzzle, but simple enough that I can do a solve or two before bed. It's really smooth, like all the other YJ v2 shape mods (ex., windmill cube, fisher cube), and really fun. If I had a speed cube that felt like that, I would be happy.
