Product Description

The FangShi LimCube 3x3 Dreidel is a 3x3x3 shape mod in which the corners can be rotated freely to scramble the cube even more, which makes the puzzle a much more difficult challenge than a normal 3x3x3 puzzle. The puzzle is capable of shape-shifting.

Features high-quality construction, stable movement, and durable stickers.

The LimCube series is FangShi's line of non-WCA puzzles. The 3x3 Dreidel is the first release in this line.

Note: Please be advised that the Transparent Pink, Transparent Blue, and Pink versions comes fully non-stickered, with a set of factory stickers on the side.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Great challenge, well-made

I love this one! Once you do a full scramble with half-twists on the corners this becomes a pretty tricky solve. You can make an easier version of this puzzle by only ever doing 120° twists on the corners if you want and it's still fun that way. Even with all the tiny pieces I don't really have many problems with this snagging or popping. I personally have not had any of the issues with the stickers that other reviewers have experienced (I don't know if they updated the cube or if I'm just using it in the right air conditions or what).

The only thing I don't like about it is that when you do a full scramble you end up with a whole bunch of pointy bits sticking out of the cube and it's kind of uncomfortable to hold.

Pokey Spikes!!

Maybe it's the way I scrambled it but... I can't be the only person who has done this with this cube.
OOTB this cube is solid, even counting the smaller stickers begging to lift already. I played with it as a 3x3 to familiarize myself with the feel of the plastic and the corner ability, or lack thereof.
Next, I began to work with it solved and experimented with turning the corner turning... I admired how pretty it looks by scrambling the corners alone. I made nice patterns.
Then, I turned two opposite, three and finally all six corners up for a deep scramble.
Well, I got what I asked for. Wow...did I ever get a scramble. Sadly, the displaced pieces do not lie flat and thereby protrude. I also have noticed that in some places there's a lot of space and in others there's not enough. At least that's what I think.
So far, it's solveable in this dangerous state; But, I'm close to just taking it apart.

this is a one of a kind cube. it has a clicky sound and turns very well. I reccomend this cube to all puzzle collecters.

Wonderful puzzle. Mine didn't come over lubed like some others have complained of. But I have seen someone's who did have the appearance that it was lubed before it was stickered. Even with the minimal lube this puzzle turns great for such complexity, no popping, few hang ups.

UGH THE STICKERS!

To be honest, it was a real let down. I pulled it out of the box and already almost all the yellow stickers had fallen. Turning is decent I suppose, and it's still really fun to solve, or at least try. Though I wouldn't say it's worth the price.

Great Cube (but Stickers could be Better)

I love this cube; received it as a birthday gift. This puzzle does occasionally lock up, but not often, and only when doing corner turns or jumbling moves. Other than that, turning is very smooth, even when jumbled, and it makes an interesting clicky feel/sound. Given the complexity of this cube, the 3x3 functionality is surprisingly good. The shapes and shades of the stickers are amazing. The color scheme makes recognition of small pieces very easy. My only complaint is that my cube arrived with the stickers a complete disaster. Almost half of the green stickers and many of the red stickers were either out of place, or completely fallen off. It's almost like they were applied while the puzzle was covered in lube, or something. Anyway, I can't get through a solve without at least 3 stickers falling off, so if you have a sticker scraper I recommend scraping and super gluing EVERY sticker before even turning the puzzle, otherwise they will fall off at random during solves.

Overall, a challenging (but fun) solve, and probably my favorite puzzle so far.

Bad stickering

Before i even opened my package, I was able to see both the yellow and red side stickers were a mess. About a dozen stickers were out of place and on top of one another. I havent even begun to turn it till this geys resolved.

Love it.

Kind of stiff turning, but not really that much of an annoyance. The solve makes you think, and when it comes to difficulty to wrap ones head around, I would compare this to a hexaminx. The orbits are confusing, and the reduction to 3x3 is pretty tough.

Stickers and Plastic are really high quality, it's definitely worth the hefty price tag.

Review

This is a nice cube, but locks up quite frequently and hard to turn sometimes. Also, it pops very rarely and the stickers fall off.

However, it's a one of a kind experience, so you should definitely get it.
