Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

It's ok

I first wrote a review that this cube was terrible, i take that back. I have the first version of this cube and this one is definitely an improvement over the previous versions. When i first wrote this review i had set the cube up like i would any other. DO NOT DO THAT. after looking at the internals this thing is built to not pop by nature, probably more so than a rubiks brand. It needs LOOSE tension, and i mean loose. After loosening the tensions just about all the way and lubricating it like i normally would, this cube actually felt pretty good. It is very "Clacky" as people would call it, but it has it's own charm that can't really be replaced by another cube.

Kinda disappointed

Honestly I got the cube and gave it to my friend after I didn’t like it. It’s okay but there’s just so many better options at the same price

best budget cube

wow, who woulda thought that a V2 that was bad step up qiyi’s game to make a REALY GOOD budget cube! it has a white interior on it’s edge pieces. i think it helps for the anti popping mechanism? the only doubt i have with this is corner twisting, you gotta REALLY break it in so you can probably get halfway and you cry that you give it a dislike.

other than that, great cube!

Disappointed

I'm not a speed cuber...meant to order the magnetic version of this...this clicks & clacks and seems like it is going to fly apart...Angela was very helpful in telling me to tighten it a bit...a little better but not smooth for a beginner like myself...I ordered 5 different inexpensive cubes for my first order with the Cubicle and am very happy with all the others but not with this one...maybe my lack of cube maintenance knowledge is the problem...will not be playing with this one...

I ordered the wrong cube. I meant to get the magnetic version. This one isn’t necessarily bad, but turning takes too much effort, it doesn’t corner cut over 45 and it’s it’s loaded with spring noise. The Yj YuLong V2 M is the same price, and it’s much better. Not to mention it’s magnetic. I’d recommend that. I wouldn’t recommend getting this cube, as a $5 Little Magic and a MF3RS3 are better than it. It’s pretty smooth ootb though. This review might be a bit biased, as I’m upset I ordered the wrong cube.

This is a amazing cube very fast everything is amazing the only thing is conner cutting is not great but it is ok

This is a great 3x3 especially if your on a budget. The turning quality is amazing the feel is great. But beware the corner cutting is not great, otherwise great cube.
