Product Description

The X-Man Tornado V3 M is QiYi's new flagship 3x3 speedcube. This puzzle has amazing performance and easy customization. X-man has released 3 versions, introducing core magnets and maglev tech to the Tornado line. It solves some small issues that were present in the V2 like replacing the rivets with screws and allowing the center caps to fit from any orientation. The improved mechanism gives a more cohesive, smooth feel when turning. And with the amount of adjustability on this speedcube, it can mold to any turning style!

This version has corner + core magnets and a MagLev mechanism that replaces the springs with opposing magnets.

Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Crushes the Tornado V2

This cube feels very similar to the Tornado V2 when you’re holding it, with the only noticeable difference being weight due to the magnets for MagLev. However, turning the cube is a whole different story. This thing corner cuts extremely well! I have very few lockups, and the speed is definitely up to my liking. I set mine up with Mystic, DNM, and Traxxas 50k, and I have my settings at Outer-5, Inner-2, with Magnet Strength 3. It does wonders.

Highly recommend it

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS (that means its good) :^)

wow. this cube is literally insane. it is soo fast and so worth the price. the maglev makes it so fast that it is uncontrollable but w/ mystic it becomes way better. the dual adjustment system is so cool. if only there was a way 2 make the magnets adjustable by hand. this is a great upgrade if u r coming from pretty much any cube. new main. highly recommend. the box is also really cool but the magnets are kinda weak and i feel like sooner or later it will open and my cube will come spilling out and get damaged. also the cube cant sit straight inside of the box it is always slightly crooked which is not that big of a deal. i hope they will make a version of this cube w/ black internals cuz i like those more than white but that is also not a big deal. either way i recommend this cube 2 any1 really great cube 5 stars!!!

Absolutely Love it!

My son absolutely loves it! And I love that it is so smooth and quiet. I even allow him to use it in church because it is so quiet. He has to have something to fidget with to pay attention. He carries ot with him everywhere. He is working on beating his fastest time. He's down to less than 15 seconds. But I can't keep track. He's working on different sized ones.

Great cube

When you think of a 40-dollar cube, that's expensive you would say, but compared to the Gan 11, 12, and 13, its cheap. it is definingly best out of all the Gan cubes, great cube. I will recommend this cube to all people

V3 Tornado (Pioneer) my new main!!!!

I purchased the Pioneer version as I haven’t had a maglev cube. I didn’t regret it. My times aren’t super fast as I been couple for like 3-4 months, but I got my PB of 22 secs on this cube. Would highly recommend. It has really good corner cutting, very smooth turns. Not too many lock ups. I have it set up 3, 3, and the second strongest setting for the magnets.
If you’re looking for a top tier cube at a better price point, this is the cube for you.

Great cube!

I've been maining the Tornado V2 since last christmas. I decided to go for the Pioneer edition of the v3.
It's a great cube, very smooth turning. It was a bit to fast and uncontrollable for me out of the box. So I changed the tension to 5 and spring compression is on 3. I also put a little bit of weight 5 on the rails of two edge pieces and the cube became very controllable and will probably be my new main.

Good yet a bit uncontrollable

I bought the Tornado V1 and V2 and they're both good in their own way. Light and quiet. When I found out about the Tornado V3, I bought it immediately, and I have to say that their are a lot of improvements.

The first improvement is the size. While I do love solvang with the tornado V1 and V2, the issue I had was it was a very small cube and sometimes my fingers wouldn't know where to go and how to properly grip it without me having horrible lockups.

Speaking of lockups, that's another thing that the tornado V1 and V2 have. Even when I was solving accurately I still had lockups when I decided to try to go fast. I will say that the V2 did improve with the lockups in comparison to the V1, but the lockups were still there and it was very annoying, but not annoying to where I did not not want to keep doing solves.

With the V3, I do get lockups, but they're not as bad, or as many as the tornado V1 and V2. That and it's a new cube so I'm still working with it and trying to get it to where I like it even more.

When people say size matters when it comes to a cube, they are not lying. I'm able to hold the cube better without feeling like I'm going to drop it because of how small it is.

And as for speed, this cube is really fast. I've been doing solves on it, and while it's good, it's hard to control. Having a fast cube isn't a bad thing because people, myself included, want cubes that are fast and ready to use instead of people having to take forever to try to speed a cube up with a lot of lube. I put the cube on the tightest settings and it's still fast. I'm going to purchase lube to slow it down but besides that, the tornado V3 pioneer is good.

And the mechanism is easier to open and use! I tend to lose tools by accident and the mechanism for the Tornado V3 is perfect!!

To me, the cube kiiiind of feels heavy (and by kind of I mean barely noticeable), but that oddly helps with me moving the cube faster and more accurate.

I do beginner's method but I've been getting good solves. All in the 20's, and 30's!

I'm going to give this one 9.7 out of 10. The remaining point is because of some of the stuff I talked about previously but that can be rectified with more tweaking and me purchasing slow lube, and, like with anything, just breaking it in.

Love it.
