Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

5x5 Fire!

Well, listen up folks, I got a tale to tell,
'Bout a Rubik's cube that rings the bell.
X-Man's the name, 5x5's the game,
Speed demon on the block, it's never tame.

X-Man 5x5, the king of the twist,
Turning so smooth, you can't resist.
UV-coated pieces, colors poppin' bright,
FZ-Rush lubed up, takin' flight.

At The Cubicle, where the speed demons dwell,
They got the hook-up, they know it well.
From freeslice to Yau, it's all the same,
X-Man's the champ, ain't playin' no game.

So heed my words, don't delay,
Go grab an X-Man, make your day.
The Rubik's game will never be the same,
With X-Man's 5x5, you'll win the fame.

Fantastic puzzle...after some effort

Out of the box, this puzzle is slow and tight. The speed issue is mainly due to the lackluster XMD lube that the puzzle is lubed with from the factory. After loosening the puzzle about a half turn, and cleaning the puzzle out, you're left with a puzzle that is still slightly sluggish, but corner cuts beautifully. After maybe 25 break in solves dry, the puzzle sped up a significant amount, after which I did a mock angstrom setup. This puzzle is a great performer, with great magnet strength and a nice balance of stability and flexibility. If you're serious about 5x5 solving, this is the puzzle to get....or maybe wait until the Gan comes out to hear some comparisons

Very good but very dry out the box

Best 5x5 I ever turned but it’s very dry out the box.

This cube is simply amazing. No other 5x5 compares right now, if you’re looking for a 5x5, seriously…don’t look elsewhere, get this one.

Elite 5x5

I didn't write s poem for this 5x5, but it is very good, the corner cutting is very good, the U.V. coating makes this cube look really good. It turns and feels amazing, my only complaint is the inner layers seem slightly sluggish, it's a easy fix with a little speedy lube.

goated 5x5

this 5x5 is the best on the market( at the time of writing this review) my times dropped a solid 10 seconds just by swapping from the mgc. just make sure you clean out the terrible lube it comes with, loosen it, then add weight V to make it absolutely beautiful. 3x3 stage is so fast on this cube. note: i averaged 1:04 on mgc and now 54 on this.

X-Man Hong

I really like this puzzle. My previous main was the Meilong, which was good, but not this good. I love the UV coating and bright colors. The outer layers feel nice and a bit crisp. The inner layers are also really good, but have a bit more of a soft plush feel. My only complaint is that it requires some set up. To get the feel I wanted I had to take it apart and lube it with XMT 10, fz calm, Mystic, and Speedy. After a bit of break it, however, it is great. All in all, this cube is incredible, and will satisfy anyone.

The best 5x5 on the market at this time.

The X-Man hong feels like a mix between the MGC and the Aochuang 5x5. It is fast and stable out of the box and the core magnets definitely help with that. After a bit of lube the cube is perfect. The cube’s UV coating also helps a lot with keeping hold of the cube. If I were to describe the feel of the turning, it would be smooth and it feels very cohesive. Anyways I highly recommend this cube.

Best 5x5 by far... with an annoying defect... that was fixed

Edit: After disassembling the cube, I found one of the corner-center magnets had popped out. after gluing it back in, The catching was gone and the cube became faster! the resistance this cube has to popping made disassembly extremely difficult, and inserting the last piece was not easy when reassembling

Original review: This is an amazing 5x5, Its quite dry out of the box and needs break-in and lube (similar to X-Man Tornado V3). But after lubing and break-in, it feels amazing. It is very stable and controllable. I have never had it even come close to popping in my solves and I only ever got it to "pop" after 2 failed attempts to force a pop. Corner twists are not too hard to do, but I doubt they will ever happen in a solve. The outer layers are similar in speed to an MGC, but the inner layers are a bit slow. Corner cutting is good (see pictures for R' corner cuts). The cube is very quiet for a 5x5, it is quieter than my DaYan TengYun V3 3x3, which is a cube famous for its quietness. Turning is very smooth. That being said, my cube had what I assume was a manufacturing defect. Out of the box, if you orient the cube with white front and red top, performing a sexy-move will cause the blue-red-white corner to catch really badly and completely lock the U face. It mostly went away after breaking it in, and I decided it was a defect that's not worth returning or replacing. I attached a picture of the lock up. it is not as bad as it used to be, but on all other corners and/or orientations, the wing pieces always stick with the corner instead of getting caught internally.

Hi Jaden,

Thanks for your review, and I am glad to hear that you like the cube! Based on the pictures that you included with your review, my best guess is that the core magnet wasn't installed correctly in that corner. If you're comfortable doing so, I recommend taking the corner out (along with the surrounding pieces to avoid damage) and seeing if the magnet looks out of place. There's a good chance that it can be pushed in manually, but if not, we can send you a new corner.
