Our Promise to You

All of our products are guaranteed to be free of defects, or we will replace and reship at no cost to you. Please contact us within 4 weeks (28 days) past the delivery date to report any issues with items you have purchased.

Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Excellent, but not quite perfect...

Prior to the release of the Danyan Tengyun M v2, I was pretty much a Gan zealot, and I'm still a pretty big Gan fan, owning literally all Gan cubes now except for the Air and 11. I usually carry three cubes with me -- a PVC coated Gan 356 XS, a Gan 356 X v2, and the Dayan Tengyun M v2. The Qiyi X-Man Tornado v2 has now replaced the Gan 356 X v2, but honestly just barely and I'm not entirely sure the replacement is permanent. The corning cutting on X-Man Tornado v2 is definitely its weakest feature. I like the configuration options of the X-Man Tornado v2 over even the high end Gan cubes, but I think the Dayan Tengyun M v2 configuration options are a better design. Honestly, it's not difficult to beat Gan at this with Gan's rather pathetic 2 tension and sliding magnet settings in $80 cubes, but I think the Dayan Tengyun M v2 beats the X-Man Tornado v2 by just a little when it comes to configuration options. I also think it's a REALLY bad decision by Qiyi to not allow disassembling the core in a flagship cube, and that (and the mediocre to poor corner cutting) is why I give the X-Man Tornado v2 four stars rather than five. It's good enough to replace my Gan 356 X v2, but no where close to being good enough to replace my Gan 356 XS or Dayan Tengyun M v2.

Pros:

- Good finish/feel
- Smooth and quiet turning
- Excellent configuration settings
- Nice magnet system
- Excellent price (especially for what you're getting)

Cons:
- Mediocre or even poor corner cutting. Changing the settings/lube helps with this, but it never really goes away.
- Cannot disassemble the core.
- I had to work a lot on the configuration to make it usable (stock configuration is not great and barely usable)

Still an excellent cube for the money, but if you're looking for a top of the line contender flagship for a budget price, I would look no further than the Dayan Tengyun M v2 over this one.

Awesome

This cube has a great feel right out of the box. I'm sending one to a family member as a gift!

Wow.

This cube is an absolute show stopper, but first, let's go through some pros and cons:

Pros:
Smooth, papery feel
Most magnet adjustments of any cube
Perfect tensions OOTB
Very well designed tensioning system
Good shades
Logo can be removed with a pencil eraser if you don't want it there

Cons:
Somewhat lackluster reverse corner cutting
Rivetted screw doesn't make much sense in a cube

With that said, the cube flows very well when turning WITH ACCURATE TURNING. Attempting to brute force it with inaccurate turns will undoubtedly lead to lock ups and frustration. In all, it's a great cube at a great price, and definitely takes the YJ MGC Elite's spot as best flagship in the $20-$25 range.

This cube is awesome!

For $25 this is a bargain flagship cube. This cube feels just like my gan 356 X except at half the price! Also, the 55 mm size and the quietness of the cube is just perfect for me.

Sucks!!!

This cube has bad corner cutting low magnet strength and is impossible to make it loose I don’t know why other people gave this a good review but I would just stick to the gan 11 m pro.

Great Cube, Amazing Price!

So I’ve had this cube for a few hours now and I have to say at first I wasn’t too impressed. Out of the box I found it a little clunky and unimpressive especially compared to my 2021 RS3 M+, but here’s the thing.. once I figured out the tensioning system and tensioned it to my liking (I usually like cubes tensioned lose but this one I found works best for me tensioned tight I use 5 on the outer and 4 on the inner) and set the magnets to the second from last strength, lubed it up, this thing is amazing! I’ve done about 200 solves so far and I really like it. The best part is the price. For $24 bucks you get an amazing unboxing experience. You get a nice little container to keep the cube in and also a really nice bag, the tensioning tool which you can swap the head out to adjust the magnets and it also comes with a nice metal Philips head so you can use it on all your other cubes too, the usual how to solve pamphlet, and a pamphlet describing the new tensioning system, and one of those little credit card things, and also the cube itself. And for a cube with this much customization that’s this good I’d have expected to pay Gan prices. The cube is super light too but then again I’ve been use to my RS3 M which has all the available upgrades in it so I guess any cube would feel light at this point lol but this cube feels super light and airy. I’d watched a bunch of reviews on this cube and they all say that the corner cutting is sub par on this cube and for me that was true out of the box, but once I set it up I’ve had no issues with corner cutting.

The shades are nice and the black internals give it a very nice contrast and I definitely prefer this look over primary/white or colored internals.

There are a few things I don’t like, such as the screws that attach the center pieces to the core are riveted so there doesn’t appear to be a way to remove the center pieces or screws from the core. And also I feel like the magnet systems makes the cube feel a tad scratchy.. almost what a cube would feel like if you had a bunch of dried super glue on the pieces, but the lube does a good job of counter acting that. Also sometimes the magnets don’t always “click” when you turn them to a new setting and it’s kind of hard to see which exact setting you have it on so I would like to see that refined a bit.

All in all this is a great cube and the price is right on this one. I’d definitely give it a 5/5. The very few cons I’ve found are outweighed by everything that they got right with this cube, and I’ll say it again especially for the price.

Great Cube, Solid price.

This cube is amazing. I is very smooth and controllable. I do get a few finer catches, but this cube still preforms extremely well. For the price I would definitely get this cube over the Gan 11 m pro, but I still like the Gan slightly better; however, it is 20 dollars more than expensive. I like lubing the cube with Silicone Weight 5, Lubicle Silk, and DNM-37 with tension and elasticity on setting 2 and magnet setting on 5 (strong, but fits my turning style.) Overall I definitely recommend this cube!

It’s ok.

For 24.99, this cube doesn’t seem that bad. It has great customization features, and provides a friendly, easy-to-use tension and magnet system. However, I have to agree with some of the other reviews here. The reverse corner cutting is honestly kind of bad. I have a very fast, rough turning style, and the cube doesn’t handle it the best. I lock up or am unable to complete a corner cut when I usually would be able to on a cube like the RS3M 2020. However, its unique smooth feel is something that I enjoy. Overall, this cube might be good for some beginning to intermediate solvers (I average low 9 and classify myself as intermediate/slightly advanced), but there are much better options for you to choose from (RS3M 2020, Gan XS/11 M Pro, Weilong WRM 2020, etc.) Score: 6-7/10
