Please note that some new cubes when being used for the first few times may experience what is termed a "pop". This is when one or more parts of a puzzle pop out without any damage actually being done to any of the pieces. This also occurs from time to time during normal usage. Pops are typically not considered a defect if the parts which come off can be reassembled by hand.

The corners on 2x2 puzzles should not be twisted as doing so may snap the piece. Damage caused by corner twisting is not considered to be a defect.

Amazing Budget Cube

Best first 4x4 for a beginner to intermediate cuber. Never locks up and turning is very smooth. No lube needed for a great turn quality of this cube. This is now my main.

Love it, smooth, fast and stable

I have had this about 3 weeks, and got black one. Out of the box its very very nice, I love it. Fast, smooth and stable. Inner layers are almost as fast and smooth as the outer layers. Forward corner cutting barely half a cube, Reverse half a cube or a little more. The corner pcs are not loose at all especially compared to KungFu CangFeng.

I just got a Cubicle Labs WuQue and I like the feel of the Legend better and it is faster. I need to give the new cube some time to break in. I also have the KungFu CangFeng and MF4S and much prefer the Legend. I wish ShengShou put a sticker on their cubes.

Best budget 4x4

The Legend has a feel unlike the ShengShou original and wind 4x4s. Instead of being hard and crunchy like the other 2 are, the Legend is much smoother and the plastic seems softer, though not as soft as MoYu plastic. The speed of the cube is very nice, slightly towards the faster side. The Legend is also very stable, but not to the extent where it feels blocky. The only flaw with this cube is that it barely reverse corner cuts, reaching at best a quarter of a piece, and it appears that external catching between the centre and corner pieces is the cause. A Florian mod is likely to be able to fix this. Forward corner cutting on the other hand, is a full piece which is nothing special. In my opinion, this outperforms all the other ShengShou 4x4s as well as all other 4x4s in it's price range. Against elite cubes like AoSu and WuQue, the Legend lacks reverse corner cutting, but in most other aspects it's comparable.

Decent cube

This is a decent cube, but it locks up quite a bit and when it comes it has lube all over it but other then that a very good cube!

It's nice but not the best.

I would rather get a YJ Guansu but this cube is very smooth if you get a good one but it has a tendancy to pop and catch. If you get a pop on this cube it's not pretty so try to be accurate if you're buying this cube.
